Makeup doesnt' have to have anything to do with color.

Everyone...EVERYONE can look better (no matter how lovely they look bare-faced) with makeup.

Especially when dressing up. It's about accentuating features, not making them clownish.

- after I put anti-tear drops in my eyes

my allergies have been so bad the last few yrs, eye makeup is like the last thing on my mind

Once you get uused to not wearing makeup , it looks really funny to wear some.

The max I can do these days is mascara and lipstick which I usually do more of a stain effect (put it on and wipe 95% off). More than that feels like it pulls my face down.

As I get older I get more "no frills" like.

Speaking of lip stain, you know what works really well? Rimmel's lip pencils. They go on totally flat (no shine, at all) so you can just mix in a teensy bit of Kiehl's #1 or whatever to moisten it. They stay on very well, too. (I've used them in shows instead of lipstick, which can be a little too intense if you're just trying to look natural.)
