To answer the question, I think she has the potential to be stunningly beautiful. But sometimes she just takes it too far. In her effort to become unique or "iconic", she wears clothes and make-up that take away a lot from whatever beauty she has (and this is judging from pictures of her when she was younger).

I think she's fully aware that she puts herself up for criticism in terms of music, her style, and her looks. All in the pursuit to be "remembered". But now.....remembered for what?

Dont really hate her...her music is ok...nothing "earth shattering"...it's fun for it's time. But people like Perez Hilton think she is the 2nd coming of Christ and is better than Christina Augliera and saying people are copying her style.

I mean really..who cares...if u like her music buy it/download it...and if u dont like it then dont.

The problem with music scene today is image wont last as long as the music.. Can you see Ga Ga dressing that way when she is 50?? Its the music they will remember,,,

Lady Gaga kinda/sorta looks like Madonna in that last pic (must be the hair). I really can't say if she's ugly or not. There are some pix I've seen of her where she doesn't look bad, and others where she just doesn't look good.

And for the record, I have no plans to be on the receiving end....in many, many, ways.

I think it's great that unconventional looking folks are in the limelight. It makes it much easier for me to tell people apart if they actually look different. She makes for compelling viewing whichever way I look at her.

On the ulgy chart where 0 = beautiful, and 10 = a face unrecognisable as a human, most of us fall into the 2-3 category. Gaga's a 2, and I wouldn't be complaining about that!

She wasn't that bad looking pre-fame.....the dark hair suited her. I just think her image comes off as forced at times. I respect her more musically though after seeing her piano versions of her songs. The acoustic version of Paparazzi is pretty good.
