That's not Peyton's fault. He's still a great QB and a first ballot HOFamer. But I do think he needs another title to join the elite QBs(Unitas, Montana, Elway, Marino, Staubach, etc.)

Marino? What did he win?

Elite isn't always measured by SuperBowl trophies. Marino is easily one of the greatest ever.

Only an AFC title. Dan Marino might be the greatest QB in NFL history to never win a SuperBowl title.

Exactly. You give Marino a supporting cast like Elway had late in his career, and he gets a ring.

I wonder what kind of deal Tim Tebow gets....

First let's see if he even gets drafted.
I don't think Tebow plays QB in the NFL.
He says he's ready to play another position and he'll have to.

Hopefully no team gets swindled into taking this guy in the
first round. I have a cousin who is a Jags fan and he has
been on his knees praying that the Jags don't draft him
in the first round.

Even Al Davis isn't that far gone . . . . .

hmm Slow, low release and all, I think Tebow is a better QB now than Russell was when he was drafted. lol

1. If you place Dan Marino in Joe Montana's roster spot with the SF 49ers of the 1980's, he would've had 6 rings. Dan's passing arm was a lot stronger than Joe's.

2. As for Tim Tebow, he's like the white male version of Daute Culpepper. Remember how good Daute was before his first knee injury AND Randy Moss being traded out of Minnesota?!?

No I don't hate Manning, I'm a realist who's followed his career closely since he played here for UT. His stats are padded by the BS rules. And you're proof of exactly what I'm talking about, people who are duped by the exploits of the media. Some people, like me, believe the MVP should go to the best player. Media and politics suggest otherwise and trump all reason. CJ earned EVERY yard of his 2000+ rushing--without rules that are padded inhis favor, because there are none--- and finished the year setting a new record for all purpose yeards, and doesn't get NOT.EVEN.ONE.MVP vote? eek Yeah right.

And Chris Johnson has played in how many SuperBowls?

None. Your point, or are you just curious?

I keep reading Jacksonville's hot for Tebow. He's bigger than Jesus down there, and the Jags are desperate to sell tickets.

If they're that desperate they better wait until the
3rd round. This team have bigger needs. I understand the
need to sell tickets but winning is the thing that generally
cures that. You can't afford to invest a first round pick and
money in a guy who is suspect at QB.
