Thank you Saints, for putting that prima-donna out of his misery. Favre got beat UP yesterday - damn, it's like they were out to hurt him. Vikes shot themselves in the foot, but they gor hosed by the refs on that ridiculous pass interference call.

If there were any doubts as to Peyton's greatness, just look at the second half - he played the Jets defense like a fiddle. Peyton & Brady are the top two QBs in the NFL right now.

Favre is a great QB, but he is NOT on the level of Unitas, Montana, Elway, Marino or Staubach.

Or Tarkenton, or Stabler or Bradshaw for that matter.

Or Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.

I think he gets plenty of credit. But it's also attributable that it's his first year and he's following Dungy who set him up to succeed very well.

Sorry, but I'm giving him as much credit as I gave Gruden when he took Dungy's team to the SB . . . not a whole lot. He got the keys to the car with a full tank of gas all he had to do was NOT wreck it. shrug

While that is true, they would be RAVING about this gut if it were Holmgren or some of the other old school cats.

You're right about that cuz that's exactly what the media did with Gruden, labeled him a boy genius an' shit rolleyes Well, why did it all fall apart after that? hah!

He will if he Indy wins the Super Bowl. Unfortunately,he will probably
suffer from the George Seifert syndrome, a quiet no name assistant who
follows a legend.

The Saints defensive coach, Gregg Williams, is talking a lot of smack about hitting Peyton. Dumbass. Go ahead, blitz Manning and see what happens. Once he figured what the Jets were doing, it was all over.

Sounds like Gregg hasn't looked at any tape..Saints will have to actually slow down the game run more and give Manning as few touches as possible..Saints defense isn't that great and he knows it.They'll have to bend but not break, but keep them recievers in front of them.

If they get there in the process of releasing ball and he gets hit Fair Game.....But driving into the ground and hitting below the knees...I bet the refs don't put up with that Shyte in the Super Bowl!!!!!

I'm shocked Favre didn't get those calls - if that's Brady or Manning, flags would be thrown.

Vikings and their fans have to killing themselves over that game. It was there for the taking.
