Never heard of the golden spoon, but then there are so many places to dine around town til I don't even try to keep up. golden spoon is a frozen yogurt spot. anything w/ brownie chunks or peanut butter sounds good to me (the orange cream one too), but I'm never quite satisfied w/ Ben & Jerry's. It's always kinda bland to me

that marzipan looks yum. On a related note, I could eat Phish Food every day.

Triple Caramel Crunch might be interesting, aside from the fudge. [Edited 6/12/09 9:28am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I wonder which other celebrities would Ben and Jerry give their vanity flavors to?
Prince: Raspberry Beret (vanilla or white chocolate ice cream with raspberry swirls) Mariah Carey: Honey (sweet cream ice cream with honey swirls) or Touch My Berry (vanilla ice cream with strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry chunks) Britney Spears: Oops, I Split It Again (vanilla ice cream with banana bits, strawberry and fudge swirls, and sprinkles) Tay Zonday: Chocolate Rain (choclate ice cream with brownie bits, chocolate chips, and fudge swirl) they have a couple raspberry flavors at the moment. i wonder if he'd do it Only if he can make huge amounts of money outta it. He's a cash whore now. I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

I was watching something last night, can't remember what it was but a comedian was talking about Ben & Jerry's icecream, saying that, in honour of Obama's inaugration they'd released an icecream called 'Yes Pe-can!'. He said that he (the comedian) and his brother were discussing it and his brother said 'His name's very close to Osama isn't it? Can you imagine an icecream in honour of him?' He said, "We both went silent for about half an hour, carried on our shopping and as we were putting our stuff on the conveyor, he suddenly said 'GOT IT!! Talibanana!"
OK, I probably didn't do that justice but I can tell you - I nearly wet meself laughin' lol I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

Yuck. I hate all them damn flavors. But then again, I don't like the brand outside of that one vanilla type flavor they have. That's just too much crazy in a bowl for me.

That's how I feel about the Trader Joe's desserts I've had. Are you blaming me for your unsuccessful TJ's ventures?? Actually I've tried a few desserts from them & never been really satisfied, some I tossed right in the garbage I never recommended you buy dessert there, Threadz I don't even like that aisle myself!

Imago said: ehuffnsd said: Seaport Village. Ben and Jerry are liberal and support many liberal and left wing causes. However they are no longer in charge of the company. The founders were able to combine ice cream making with social activism by creating a three-part Mission Statement that considered profits as only one measure of success. By trisecting their measure of success into a Product Mission, an Economic Mission and a Social Mission, they were able to set themselves apart from similarly sized food companies, and generate national attention on their efforts. OK, I can see why my uncle would hate them. Right-wing types tend to hate anyone who take the 'we're in this together' approach. My uncle on that same vacation was pissed that one of your beaches in La Jolla is now fenced off to protect the seals. He said, and I quote, "The seals can just find another beach to go to." so can he...and i suppose he did....that's RICH...tooo funny!
