eek Wow! You all have some beautiful homes! You can't see my house for all the kids toys and dust lol

MDiver - You put a lot of work in there - the results look fantastic. I like how both your laptops have the org on the screens lol

Cuddles - What a fantastic house! I LOVE that banister and your look is so individual cool

John - Your look is fabulous! Really cool but homely and welcoming.

Carrie - Very chic - particularly like the S&M corner sexy

Before and Afters would be awesome too.

As some know, we moved into a new place earlier this month.
We love this house!yay!
Things are still a mess but the transformation has begun...

Kitchen

Now:

All around the kitchen/living area there's a ledge (left there when the ceilings where blown out to expose the beams) it serves as a pretty cool way for me to store some of my paintings while sort-of displaying them.

hmmm

Think this is what I need to do.
All I need is 2 stools, daybed, cushy chair or loveseat, and I already have a wall unit/bookshelf/desk.

I was thinking of buying new, but if you can find all these second hand, then that's what I'm doing too.

I assume you mean "homey" since you also said fabulous. lol wink

It's important to me that our houses feel "homey". Lots of art (for obvious reasons) is important to me also. I'll post more as I get more rooms done.

Thanks!

In the living room/dining I did a green on alternating walls. Still a mess in there and not arranged yet, but this gives an idea of the color.(on the right)

The small guest bathroom right by our front entrance I'm excited about...the walls will be black with black and white photography on them. I hope to do that next week.

Oh my goodness! These homes are beautiful!

You all have done such a wonderful job.

I don't think I have the skill to do on my own what you all have done with your homes. I have to seek advice! LOL

We haven't even started major renovation yet, but for sure there are some good ideas here.
