I agree with that...the game isn't even on my radar (and I'm a HUGE fan)...they need to bring some skills competitions into it like the NFL's fastest man, best hands, best arm etc.

Same here...I haven't watched the Pro Bowl since Bradshaw and Staubach were the starting QBs. All-Star games don't do it for me anymore. I used to watch the NBA All-Stars when Dr.J, Magic, Bird, & Gervin were doing their thing. Now I could care less....they ain't what they used to be.

Go Eagles! I want them to win so my G-Men will have the pleasure of beating them in two weeks. We owe them.

Well if they move it, then we'll all see . . . .

They did move it. And trust and believe, you won't see ANY players that are playing in the Super Bowl that next week playing in the Pro Bowl. Not EVER gonna happen.

Exactly, they already sit players out of regular season games once they clinch home field advantage.

Yep. And what's the ONLY major sport that has its all star game AFTER their season? NFL. Why? Because the risk of injury - season-ending injury at that - makes sure it won't be held at the midway point where teams could lose their best players.

All I know is that the refs are doing all they can to make sure you're not watching the Cardinals next week....missing obvious calls....

That's exactly why I picked 'em. I had Warner as my fantasy QB and I kicked ass every week and won the title, so I knew he'd bang on ATL's D, and that's exactly why I picked 'em! cool

I had ATL, but I changed my mind because I took a deeper look at Micheal Turner's road stats....and he didn't get nearly as many yards away from the GA Dome...I figured the Cards would be able to keep him in check enough to get the W...

...as for the Colts, it looks like the Chargers are in that ass....

I know, right?? omfg The Chargers D pretty much played lights out tonight, though....

Darren Sproles was a BEAST tonight...LaDanian Who?!?! lol

Fifty years after the Baltimore Colts won the first overtime game in league history by the same score over the New York Giants for the NFL title, Indianapolis wasn't so fortunate. It was victimized by Sproles, who rushed 23 times for 105 yards, caught five passes for 45 yards, had 106 yards on four kickoff returns and 72 on three punt runbacks.

no no no! LT played with a tendon detached from his groin! His groin! disbelief It even hurts to type that and I was squirming the whole time they were discussing it! No, last night LT proved he was the toughest athlete ever!

LT did more sitting than playing. I also noticed it hurt to cut.

It probably doesn't hurt unless he tries to cut, otherwise it's just sore.
And I'm sure he had a shot or two before the game.

Don't expect him to do much more next week.

He had me when he put his pants on. There is no "just" anything with a groin injury. shrug

My response was a tongue in cheek finger to the TV experts who said that the Chargers wouldn't win if Sproles ended up having to carry the load for LT...I know what a groin injury feels like, so it wasn't a knock on his toughness...

Yeah, I got that. OTOH, I don't think I heard a lot of people lamenting their chances with Sproles.

Yet he's still underappreciated in Philly. He's won conference champinships and took the Eagles to a SB, but he gets no love. Y'all will miss him when he's gone.

Well, this Philly fan has always appreciated him. I became an Eagles fan after seeing what Randall could do, but Donovan quickly became my favorite player.
