Movies or Music

If you were isolated from the rest of the world, and only allowed to import DVD's or CD's - which would you choose? and why?

CDs...because i can enjoy CDs while doing other things, but with DVDs i have to stop what i'm doing so i can sit there and watch them. maybe if i were isolated from the rest of the world, i'd be happy to have images of other people, but i think i would much rather just have my iPod (which would be cheating since i have some videos on it, but i won't tell anyone if you won't, heh).

Music for sure. It means way more to me than movies/TV.

I'm going to say movies. The best movies use music really effectively, whether through a well-written score or through clever song placement. Movies also have a knack for introducing themes to audiences. Look at the way folks have rushed out to see "The Dark Knight." I can't think of an album that's resonated with such a large consumer base since, maybe, "Thriller." But, blockbuster movies happen every year, it seems.

Music, for sure. I'm not a big movie guy. I forget plots and character and actors' names within months of seeing a film. lol Music is deep down in my soul though.

I was only half-joking earlier biggrin ...for the reasons you've mentioned.

I was gonna say DVD's because I'd have the music AND the video to watch but
as you say can ONLY be a DVD or CD so I'll go with CD's. I can imagine in
my mind with the music. It's GOT TO BE the music-ALWAYS!!!!! eek lol
