I hate it but I seem to do a lot of it lately.
Someone's dress shirts and the sheets. I hate wrinkled sheets and duvet covers.

falloff

nod Pretty much

If you don't overload the dryer and take things out as soon as they are done, hang them up = ZERO crinkles man lol

It's pretty damn easy to not let the fabrics get crinkled up and the husband has no iron dress shirts - pull them outta the dryer shake hang = ZERO crinkles

Last thing I ironed was over 15 yrs ago or more

I only do it about 3 times a year, but I LOVE the look of a freshly ironed shirt.

I think ironing has become a lost art.

I don't love it, but I don't mind it either. It's a fact of life for me. I iron almost every single morning.

i HATE ironing. HATE it. in fact, i will get a bunch of wrinkly shirts and drop them off at a dry cleaners before i will iron them myself, unless it's some extreme last minute emergency. life's too short for something that tedious. barf

in this day and age, we have the technology to create shirts that don't need ironing. i think it's simple sadism that clothing continues to be made that requires an iron. irons should be like betamax machines or crystal pepsi - obsolete and rotting away in the basement, dammit.

I don't understand how people have entire wardrobes that don't require ironing. Don't you people work for a living?

And cotton I ALWAYS have to iron to make it look nice and crisp. I like the nice and crisp look.

Oh yeah, the crinkly, soft linen look can be nice too. I just always feel unkempt that way.
I'm being conditioned by the corporate machine, aren't I? confused

For sure! The only people who should be using irons are those who do live reinactments in historical theme parks.
