The worst, most humiliating baby names

I always thought that some of those ghetto names of people on the Maury show were atrocious, but apparently there are worse things to be named for in your life.

confuse Prince Roker?
Did they mix up the two?

This one's pretty funny:
About 20-25 years ago I knew a man who gave his son the name "Alias." His girlfriend, the mother of the child, apparently thought the name was pretty cool so there is a man now walking this earth named "Alias." This must raise some eyebrows when he fills out a job application or experiences a minor traffic stop. I don't even want to think about an encounter with Homeland Security.

I already have embarrassing baby names for my future kids... redface

A few come to mind:
- My high school Geometry teacher's name was Richard Weiner. (Dick Weiner?!)
- I heard of a kid in district whose name is pronounced "Sha-Todd", but spelled S-H-I-T-H-E-A-D. More than person confirmed that rumor.
- I also heard of twin boys named "God's Purpose" and "God's Property" or something like that.

"Love Hurts.
Your lies, they cut me.
Now your words don't mean a thing.
I don't give a damn if you ever loved me..."

There was an article in the NYTimes a week or two ago about whether bad names led to poor grades, unpopularity, not being hired for jobs, etc. Ultimately, they said it didn't have much effect; which I'm not sure I believe. The article also said that if men were given the chance, the most popular middle name for boys would be Danger because guys want their sons to be able to truthfully say, "Danger is my middle name." lol

There was a kid named Tommy Thompson in my high school.

We also had a family whose last name was Cockburn. lol

I forget which team it was, but as I was watching the NCAA tournament yesterday there was a player whose first name was Gyno--which they were pronouncing like Gino. I was like, "Um no, I don't care how you think it should be pronounced it's spelled g-y-n-o as in short for gynocologist." disbelief

During the winter, SportsNet New York did a program with the 25 funniest names in sports... the 3 announcers were having a ball making fun of those people.

I don't understand how it happened. She went to school with my wife. Kids apparently used to tease her by pretending they were DJs scratching her name...
