a proud momma moment The kid took her CNA (certified nursing assistant) test and passed.
So at 17 she has her CNA, she'll take some LPN courses next year in her senior year. She's on a fast course to being a labor/delivery nurse practitioner.

I'm happy for her.
She's able to take the test at 17 because she's a part of the nursing program at her high school. She actually goes to a nursing home three days per week. She gained enough clinical hours to take the test. | |

congrats to the kid and big ups to the mama who raised her so she would have so much self confidence to even attempt to take a test like that.
