He is a lucky Brit ...he has had ham from the Honey Baked Ham store. It is yummie with my homemade scalloped potatoes. Sadly now the only potatoes I will see are roasties.

The only complaint I have about HBH store is that they are expensive. I only bought from them for special occasions.

I love Honey Baked Ham products.
I send a lay out to my sister back east for Christmas, as they don't have a store nearby. Ham cheese, dessert etc.
I buy one for the housekeeper for the holidays.
I get one when everyone's home during holiday season, as it gets eaten. I'll buy a big one for a meal, then use leftovers for sandwiches. I buy different mustards and have plenty of cheeses to go with along with breads.(Marbled pumpernicle, sourdough)
I then take the bone, and make soup. Split pea is traditional, but there are other soup recipes that are great.
When the soup's done, the dogs get the bone!
I get brochures from the company all the time. biggrin

If there's a store in your area, you can walk in, and pick which ham you want. They open the package, and show you the ham. If you want something bigger, or smaller ,they pull another ham out until you get what you want.
The product is far superior to grocery store hams.

It's all about the glaze. If you open that ham and it doesn't have a consistent glaze from one side to the other, get another one. Their sides are hit or miss but I like the stuffing. The Turkey breast is one thing I can eat before I get it home, again, that glaze.

If you are talking about the place that sells them precooked. I Highly recommend it! High quality and they taste really good! I have had the ham not the turkey.

In our family the "Honey Baked Ham" has a proper place on the table next to the turkey.Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without one.

Yup! Love that place (did seasonal work there).

If you grind up the ham (the small scrappy pieces), mix with mayo, that's a delicious topping to spread on crackers too!

If you have left overs and are tired of eating anymore, you can freeze the slices in small packages and thaw for ham omelettes, soups, sandwiches, quiches,
eat with bagels, augratin potatoes, ham gravy with bisquits, etc.

Yes. Being from Detroit, the home of the original Honey Baked Ham Company, the holidays werent the holidays without one of those amazing hams. I dont do the hams much anymore but I do love the roasted "Honey Baked" turkey breasts. They are really good for sandwhiches.
