OK, at the risk of pissing off hot chicks like Mushanga, and whatever planetearthsucks is, I have to say this:

All those games suck.

Hitting colored buttons? C'mon! I thought I was playing that old game where you had to hit the different-colored buttons in whatever order the computer lit them up.

Plus, if you really do know how to play a guitar, those games are frustrating as all get-out. Ugh, not for me.

Rock Band is going to blow Guitar Hero out of the water, I think. Can't wait til I can actually acquire it.

Anyway, that said, I LOVE Guitar Hero. My husband and I co-op all the time, my 360 gamer profile our band's called Moonstick, and then on his we're called Prolapse. Excellent band names.

The drum part isn't that bad, though. I played it last night and it's almost close to actually playing the drums while reading music.

As a guitarist, it was a challenge at first but then you realize that they are playing with the music and it actually has some similar techniques (hammer-ons and pull-offs). Then again, I'm from the video game generation and we adapt pretty easily, old people suck.

I tried Guitar Hero but in about 10 seconds I thought, "What's the point? I can play all these songs for real! Why do I care about pressing the green button when I can bend the E string?"

But if I couldn't play an instrument, I guess this would be sort of fun.
