Breaking News in Minnesota per MSNBC!

Since I'm here I may as well pass along this breaking item. Bridge Collapses in Minneapolis where freeway crosses river near University Ave..

I just got this news from Endo, who is FINE - he's here in Chicago at the airport - but he's freaking out trying to contact his people back home, but phone lines are completely tied up. sad

I live right NEXT to it. I was first on the scene. It shook my house, I looked out my window and saw the bridge was gone!

I have to get out of the neighborhood. Too much smoke in the air.

There was road beneath a section of the fallen bridge, and KMSP said there are at least 50 cars in the Mississippi river.

To let you all know the local media here in the twin cities is asking people to NOT use their cell phones. The lines are all tied up and emergency workers need the lines to be open.
