I think to put it down to Michael being black is a low blow. If Lisa didn't want black children, why the hell would she even go forward with her interest in getting to know Michael beyond a friendship? Hanging out with his sister after they split, continuing to go visit him around the world? Come on.

Elvis had one real brother who died at birth, Jesse. Was Elvis even close to his step brother? I wonder... since his mother was his entire world, his dad remarrying must have hurt. So I doubt this step brother knew Elvis in and out, but I could be wrong. Even if he knew him well, I take these Memphis folks who end up on TV in documentaries talking for Elvis and putting Michael down, with a giant pinch of salt. How can these 5th cousins removed know what Elvis would have thought? lol And how do they have any inkling to Lisa's mind when it comes to who she would have kids with. confused Lisa was 9 when her dad died, I doubt he sat her down and told her 'NO BLACK MEN LISA'.

Elvis's girlfriend Linda Thomspon never had a bad word to say about Lisa's marriage to Michael, she thought it was legit. So, there ya go. One of Elvis's camp who thought it was hot shit! And she did know him intimately, so that matters! lol

And yeah, Lisa only had kids with 2/4 of her husbands. She never had children with the two superstars she married, Nic Cage (the biggest superstar in the world of all time) and Michael Jackson. The quick marriages that were full of headlines. Maybe that was a reason why, and the fact that they were short term marriages? She never had kids with her latest husband until they were together for almost 5 years or something right? So, perhaps if MJ and Lisa stuck it out, there'd be a little Presley Jackson, but it wasn't to be.

Unless... they really did have a kid and Rebbie raised him like she did with Janet's daughter. lol

For those obssessed with MJ's personal life, you should watch this great VH1 bio from 2004 called Man in the Mirror. Best Jackson movie ever made and historically accurate too:

Superb acting by Flex Anderson as Michael Jackson.

I am not sure why people are making so many excuses for Lisa like she was the love of MJ's life. eek Michael had a love.....but it definitly was not Lisa! Michael dated plenty of women before and after Lisa. There was nothing special about her and their union was based on circumstances.

I don't know about you, but I think Diana Ross was the love of his life and a great influence, too.

I definitly agree, that was his real true love nod

It's a VH1 movie so the budget was limited. But the movie was historically accurate for the most part.

Especially this scene:

Basically Brett-Livingstone Strong who was a mutual friend of Michael and Lisa introduced Lisa to Michael. This happened sometime in 1992. Lisa was interested in having a singing career at the time and Michael had started up his own label and Brett came up with the idea of Michael signing Lisa to his label. Lisa was unhappy in her marriage at the time and became really interested in Michael and started pursuing him. Mike wasnt interested at all because she was married at the time, however their friendship intensified when the 1993 molestation allegations came out.

I had posted an excerpt from the book "Child Bride" a biography about Priscilla Presley on the KOP board years ago. There was a chapter in the book that talked about the LMP and MJ. I went on the KOP board to try to find my post but I couldnt find it sad I think posts older than 2007 were deleted or something.

However I did find that someone had posted the very same excerpt on another board. It's kind of lengthy, but very interesting. You can read it here:

Thanks for posting this Naughty. This is why I am not sure why people insist on making LMP the end all be all woman in MJ's life. She pursued him before and after the relationship. It was also said that MJ heard her demo and did not think she could sing and didn't want to sign her but Lisa demanded to meet with Michael personally in order to change his mind. Oh nevermind, I read the same exact thing and that is exactly what it said Lol She obviously used him for fame and attention.

Does it disturb anyone else that we've spent about 4 pages or more discussing (crucify is a better word really ) about ONE woman who has moved on for decades now as well as the man rather than talking about more relevant details of his life like oh I dunno his JOB.....you know his music, charity, shit some actual good times he had. His marriages failed boo hoo...its another statistic in the system who cares? His love for an older woman failed boo hoo it happens to the best of us. ...can we move on now please?

Discussion Question : What's your favorite moment with Michael?

I dont see anything wrong with people discussing Michael's past relationships here--after all this is the Discuss ANYTHING and EVERYTHING MJ thread, so it just doesnt pertain to his music only. And TBQH, this thread usually does talk about only his music about 95% of the time. Its just that within the past few days the discussion has veered toward another aspect of his life. When you're as huge as Michael Jackson, its only natural for people to want to discuss all aspects of his life including his relationships along with his music and art. This is the first time in a looooong time that I've seen discussion about LMP or any relationship he's had so its all good.

I read his book "Moon walker". He said it broke his heart when she got married. Said he loves her and always will. Wasn't she in his will that if anything happened to him, she will be his kids guardian?

Actually, I saw MJ in person when he was filming "Bad" in this subway in NY. His bodyguards wisked him quickly into his trailer. Had a nice smile, a caramel complexion, and very skinny.

For some fans, the soap opera called his life was more important than the music he produced. MJ's music takes a backseat for these kind of fans.
