Looking good without make-up late 2002.

you meant to say "with a moderate make-up"?

"good" ended in the late 80's.
"not bad" ended in 1998.
after that it was very bad or tolerable.
at these photos he looks tolerable.
I still think it was a make-up - the very worst that was in the appearance of MJ!

I have somewhere 300 MJ photos in the collection, 290 of them are made before the 90's.
in 1980-1983 he was the most beautiful musical artist ever, IMHO, I do not think I'm ever going to accept the fact that he made with himself later. and this horrible make-up only aggravated the situation.

I have mixed feelings about Bad.
On the one hand, he was handsome, but on the other - if before it was only corrected nose, in Bad era it was already a full tuning
in the 90s he looked extravagant, though not bad.
but it was too much for me. one of the very few videos where I really like his appearance in the 90s

in the 00's, I just prefer not to see, it's frustrating.

I like those 2002 pics, indeed he looked great wink After the brief Invincible period when he looked very different, he came back to looking like he did in the 90's, he just aged and made some bad hair choices lol Personally I always thought curly hair brought out the best of his features and it softens his very prominent cheekbones.

@ dag & alpha I don't know where it's from originally (got it from tumblr) but I also saw this pic from MJsite.com does that make it legit or no? damn it bboy would know mad lol

I've heard that it's not real as well, but still adorable

I love that curly haired pic, that was during TII rehearsals but he brought back his 90's look. Personally, I always preferred the curls over the straight hair though he rocked it in the late 80's/early 90's though that had more of a wave to it.

But most of the straight hair were wigs and weaves. According to the autopsy under all that he had his natural hair underneath, which was receding.

I think the last time mj had all his own hair on his head was during the thriller era. I think the fire and other things took its toll on his natural hair and he was probably wearing weaves/hair pieces for the rest of his life.

Yes! Long wavy hair worked for Michael too I agree heart Not just the early 90's Remember The Time hairdo but I also liked the Stranger in Moscow hair. And I really loved it when he wore his hair short during the History era. Basically I loved all his different hairstyles but the straight, middle parted hair during 2002~before TII rehearsals. Other than the fact that it doesn't look good on his features, (honestly this hair looks bad on most people...they just don't realize it lol) I think what bothered me was that it just looked like it was not as done if u know what I mean. It almost made him look kind of lazy lol. But sometimes it was styled the right way.

Just a thought everyone, I've been thinking this lately and wanted to know your opinions:

I've noticed that since the Bad era during his solo tours, and even in some videos, fans state that mj was sexier and we get into a million debates and his skin colour comes up, but do you think this reaction is because mj incorporated exotic and sexual imagery into his performances subliminally? I didn't really notice it till recently though I'm fully grown and have been a fan forever. It's like he's touching on s&m, incorporating a little bit of pole dancing, has the blowing fans over his head, the crotch is obvious...maybe he incorporated more of it to take away from the insecurity of his changing looks in that period? Cause I don't think he did it as much during the OTW and Thriller eras when comparing the performances. Those were really fast and out of this world, and the choreography was different later on though still excellent and with different moves, but it was about imagery too.

Seems to me like these early mixes from Off The Wall sound more funky and disco-esque. The final versions were much more streamlined by Quincy and don't sound as dated. Yet these mixes sound like they are amazing and almost like their own different songs compared to the final music. Why can't the Estate just release stuff like this?

That made me think of Chic working with Diana Ross and Motown releasing a modified version in the end. Now there is a double set I have with each version of the album, they should really do something like that for an Off The Wall anniversary album and market it the same way, and it would be really interesting too since OTW was released at the height of disco experiencing a backlash publicly yet tearing up the charts, becoming the all time best seller by a black artist until he broke his own record with Thriller.

I totally agree. I've overplayed that Diana Ross album and I just love it and I think that would be a great idea for the estate to do with Off the wall. At the same time, I would love to hear his more recent work. We also need to get some more videos because MJ has a lot of them in his vaults.

Interesting thoughts. I do believe certain fans prefer the "white MJ" because sadly some people are still color struck and racist. I don't think that those sexual things he did through his dancing was because of his looks, I just think he became more comfortable about his sexuality. I think the Bad era is interesting because not only does he explore his sexuality but he also incorporates some of those same images he had seen as a teenager. The interest for prostitues, groupies, women who wanted fame came from his own experiences and from his brothers. MJ was always subtle tho and he would always let his art speak for itself.

Paris Jackson Planning to...e to Rowe?

Paris Jackson

Remember when Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris Jackson was considered to be black because her biological father is a black man? Well those days are over.

According to numerous published reports, Paris, 15, has abandoned the black side of her family and now spends most of her time with her biological mother, Debbie Rowe. They say Paris hardly ever sees her paternal grandmother, Katherine Jackson anymore. Katherine, 82, has joint custody, with Michael’s nephew, TJ, of Paris and her 2 brothers, Prince Michael, 16, and Blanket, 11.

Paris Jackson and Debbie Rowe

As you know, Rowe was once married to Michael. And as part of their odd arrangement she agreed to bear him Paris and Prince Michael (no one knows who Blanket’s birth mother is).

Michael later divorced Rowe and she happily signed away her parental rights in exchange for a big fat check. At the time, Rowe was just happy to have the cash to quit her job as a nurse and run her horse farm full time. They say that as a result of Rowe’s manipulative ways, Prince is hesitant to reunite with his birth mother.

Of course, Rowe denies reuniting with her estranged daughter so she can get her grubby hands on her daughter’s multimillion-dollar trust fund fortune. But should Rowe’s shady past matter now? Isn’t it always a good thing when a mother bonds with her daughter — even if there are millions of dollars at stake?

eye will ALWAYS think of prince like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. eye mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that prince wasn't of this earth, eye would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. prince

wow, for some reason, I did not think Debbie pursuing materialistic goals now .... If so, then the heart of this woman, like a stone.

In any case, Paris will get her money after 30, so all the jackals have to wait long.

I'm surprised that Paris so quickly became close with her mother, who was not part of her life for so long and did not hide that is not interested in her children.

I know exactly I would have questions in this situation, and carefully built a relationship of trust .... slowly.

You know what, fuck it. I'm saying what I have been thinking for years: Damn, Blanket should have been an only child.

-

I've got nothing against the unfortunate oldest boy (and I appreciate his loyal resistance to Rowe, even though his father should have never spawned with her in the first place), but that notwithstanding, it would be cool as air conditioning if Blanket were the solo heir. I don't give a damn about how "terrible" that may sound either, even with Michael being gone now. As young and as taciturn as that little dude is, he's the only one who appears to have learned or inherited anything from Michael, and just having that one reminiscent, disciplined, well-fucking-dressed, elusive son, and no others, is some imagery that would have suited MJJ 1000x better.

-

Yet instead, among other stupid shit, the world wide web has access to these good-ol' tacky "reunion" pictures that fucking TMZ, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, and several other tabloid companies that maligned Michael to death have permissibly obtained straight from this old little girl herself, one of Rowe's nieces, as well as Rowe's own Facebook/Twitter photo albums. Just cheesing it up with her clone teenage daughter who wants this attention that Michael specifically shielded her from. I will never understand it, but I certainly expected it. I KNEW shit like this would happen. And a feature film called "Daddy Dearest" based on the tragic life of displaced Paris Rowe growing up in that awful, awful MichaelJacksonLand is gonna be next. Damn.

Duh! But "subliminally"? you gotta be kidding lol Plus I don't know about you but I have a hard time calling men under 21 "sexy". They can't even drink that's crazy! OTW era MJ has now become a baby to me grandpa lol

maybe he incorporated more of it to take away from the insecurity of his changing looks in that period? Cause I don't think he did it as much during the OTW and Thriller eras when comparing the performances.

Actually I think exactly the opposite, I see more confidence in him both on stage and off post 1984. Could've been the nose job that made him feel more handsome but during the teenage years & even OTW era you could see he was quite insecure about his nose and his skin that he even tried to cover up his face during the interview once and he seemed like he wasn't even comfortable making eye contact sometimes. So I think maybe because he felt more confident about the way he looked after Thriller that he started incorporating more sexual moves? Or maybe considering the fact he lived with his parents till the late 20's he might've just not been ready mentally to show the sexy side of his lol. I don't judge him for having nose jobs...it's unfortunate he couldn't see how beautiful he was but that was obviously one of the ways for him to deal with his own insecurities especially with the random blotches starting to appear on his body. And if that made him more at ease then really who cares. Michael is Michael is Michael is Michael to me always. =)

Damn.IF Paris is turning away from Michael's family, it's THEIR fault. Look how Janet and the rest of them treated her when her ONLY concern was for her guardian/grandmother, Katherine. Look how Janet stans blamed a CHILD, Paris, for being concerned abouit her MISSING grandmother. IF Paris is distant with the "Jackson" side of the family, it is because THEY are distant with her. Even Katherine doesn't act the same and you can tell that Paris LOVES her grandmother to death. Where else does this teenage girl have to turn when she can't TRUST her OWN aunts and uncles? Paris loved being around her cousins and the rest of Michael's family. I will say it again, it was not HER who turned from them, it was THEM who turned on her. I am just thankful that she can turn to her mother, because she damn well doesn't have any other female/woman that she can turn to or trust.

I didn't want to say, but yes, I felt that whatever he saw when he was too young sort of became a subconscious influence on him, as an adult.

I'm into mj from all the eras and think it's silly that people go by colour, but it wasn't until the 90's I became diehard, cause in the 80's to me, he was just another good artist, cause everyone was so good overall that I couldn't choose one though maybe madonna came close for me then, but in the 90's though I still liked whoever was new, it was all sounding like older music I knew and mj was the obvious standout to me along with janet and a few others.
