I saw the MJ towel. I thought it was a blanket. I have a custom made MJ blanket, but I could never imagine using Michael Jackson on a towel to dry off. The real Michael Jackson if he were still here, SURE, but him on a towel, NAH.

I'll just sleep with him. sexy

On the blanket. lol

You mean you wouldnt like to rub MJ all over your body? razz Jk lol! I agree those towels are too pretty to use--they're like mini works of art fallinluv I still plan on getting 1 or 2 of them, but I will probably just hang them in the bathroom as decoration.

If you're going to update a song in the vault, why not also give us the original version as it was left? Case in point, Behind The Mask. That was released as a single. So why not include as a B-side the original version circa 1982? I don't get it.

nod similar to what they did with The Girl Is Mine 2008 and put the original demo from '81 as the b-side

I wouldn't dry myself off with that towel (tempting, but no.). I'd probably frame it or something..or mount it like a tapestry.

Soooo....Brett Ratner was on Jimmy Kimmel last night, I missed it but apparently he told a story about Michael once hitting a homeless man with a water balloon.

Brett Ratner Went On Water Balloon Mission With Michael Jackson

Prankster Michael Jackson once took filmmaker Brett Ratner on a 4am water balloon mission and terrified a stunned homeless man.

Ratner and Jackson became close friends and the Rush Hour director would often stay at the pop superstar's Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.

During an appearance on TV talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday (26Oct11), Ratner recalled one hilarious night with the King of Pop when the two pals and Jackson's driver Kato hit the country roads near Jackson's home armed with water balloons.

The moviemaker said, "He (Jackson) puts on a Hulk mask... and we're driving down an empty road... No one is in sight... All of a sudden there's, like, a homeless guy walking on the side of the expressway... and Michael Jackson says, 'Kato, hit the breaks...'

"This guy thinks he's gonna be attacked and all of a sudden Michael Jackson pops out of the sun roof with the Hulk mask on. Imagine how scared this guy was... The guy starts running in the other direction and he (Jackson) says, 'Kato, throw it in reverse!'

"We catch up to the guy and the guy just stops and he (Jackson) just hits him with the water balloon and he goes, 'Kato, go!'

"We laughed the whole night... It was, like, the craziest thing."

I don't know if I believe the story, didn't he and janet feed homeless people at night? Michael's not even here to retract it if not true.

alaphastreet - read Jermaine's book, if you haven't. You will like it. I really enjoyed it. One of the best books I've read about MJ in awhile.

As for the Brett Ratner story, it might be true. Who knows? Cus Chris and Brett go way back too.

Listen to what Chris Tucker had to say about MJ over the years.

This is from earlier this year..

And from back when Rush Hour 3 was out..

I may smell of grease if I try lol I gave Jermaine Jackson enough money this year at the IIFA Fashion show in June. I appreciate all the support and care towards michael now, but sometimes he makes me go WTF and from what I hear, he leaves a lot out of his book and sugarcoats his past with Michael, but the fans before June 25th should know better. I read a excerpt of the book though and it looked really well written. I may read it online at some point, it's still hard for me to read about michael and watch him.

I know all about MJ and Rush Hour, he should have just shown up in the third one...to kick Chris's ass for dancing to Prince lol

Jermaine's book, "You Are Not Alone" is very well written. You can tell Jermaine loved his brother a lot, and has some regrets on how he handled certain things, IE - "Word to the Bad" and he owns up to his own mistakes. I enjoyed the book and would tell any fan who was curious about Michael "the person" and not just, Michael "the artist" - to pick it up.

On an unrelated note, check out this picture I found while surfing the net. Pretty fascinating and sad all at the same time.:

I second this. The book was that good. The parts that were the most captivating for me were the parts that had nothing to do with them as performers. When they were civilians, before the massive fame. When they were at home being brothers. Jermaine did own up to his mistakes, but I realized, as he refreshed my memory, of how little attention I paid to all of that ish! I was so into the music. But, yeah, the book is well done.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I think that note is very telling. And this is why I don't get fans who think both Tommy Motolla and John Branca are part of a big conspiracy. Michael made his will around the same time as the Sony speech, and if John was untrustworthy and he suspected him, there is no way he would have included him in the will. I know he was out of his team for sometime but then back, but I think Michael would have ammended it if there was a major problem, but he was back when Michael needed him, and nothing in the will changed. I truly believe the family was speculating on it "not being the real will" with the last hope that Joseph was given something or more money would be available.

Just finished Jermaine's book and on the whole it is a great read - well written (props to the Ghost Writer) and quite insightful if not a little self serving and contradictary in points. Some minor timeline issues in recounting of stories but other than that well rounded and personal insight into MJ as both an artist and a person.
