Yep. Give it a cheestastic title like "crown jewels" LOL.

Fuck all these reissues. I don't want "streetwalker" and "fly away" again either. I hate that sony got the rights to release these records, as that means they can do this re-issue shit. A company like BMG wouldn't of been able to do that. "Thriller 25" was bad enough.

Yeah, but that was about when I posted IaMmE. This was a full tribute to MJ ABDC did, to the most overrated album ever. But I liked the performances, which performance you liked?

It will never happen. Audiophile geeks and Pink Floyd fans go hand in hand. The estate are trying to get kids onto Mike (as evident by getting 50 cent for "Monster", a single they never released. I guess Sony got cold feet about releasing it after the scandal LOL). So a completely different demographic to the geektastic Floyd.

Just a boxset like Springsteens "tracks", UNALTERED, would be cool.

I hope they learn from their mistakes with "Michael". That album underperformed and they know it. If "Hold my hand" was a moderate hit, the following attempted singles were disasters. Just release a box set and fuck trying to sell millions to people who don't want any more Jackson. Just sell it to the hardcore and release a few singles to try and entice a few buyers.

Thats it! I don't really think the general public want any "new" and "updated" material. But I know Sony will fuck around with it. And I hate them for it!

It makes me sad to hear the public will not want anything new from him though fans are dying for it, though it's not the same without his approval. They are really missing out on the Bad and HIStory tours. Most of today's acts would not be here today without the inspiration of those tours and a few others from his peers.

I don't remember ABDC being a tribute to Thriller, I'm pretty sure non Thriller songs were there too, though it was so long ago.

Jackson is not like Prince, Dylan or Springsteen. It seems alot of the tracks not released were never properly finished.

We already have about a dozen or so complete outtakes (the few on "ultimate collection" coupled with the 2001 remastered stuff and the leaked "Dangerous" outtakes). All of those tracks could of made a couple of full albums with a few new ones added, but I think whilst their may be another say 50 tracks unheard by the public, how many of them were actually finished and mixed down properly? If they are near finished gems like "fall again" or "for all time" (before "thriller 25 made it worse), then fine, but otherwise, if they sound too basic or unfinished, you know sony will touch them up and ruin them. You just know sony will fuck up "if you dont love me" with a new solo by Slash or some shit LOL.

It's alleged he worked on over 70 or so songs for "bad", but that does not mean he finished complete or near complete tracks? I just hope "Michael" was a backfire.

I would love a UNCUT blu ray of "Moonwalker" with directors commentary, behind the scenes (they made one, saw some of it on youtube), and stuff from Mikes vault. Put "Captain eo" as a bonus aswell LOL. I can dream lol

With the estate confirming that a 25th anniversary edition of Bad is on the way, how would you guys like to see it released? In a deluxe boxset (more expensive) or would you like to see them do a simple re-release with a few outtakes similar to the 2001 special edition (cheaper)

I'd like to possibly see a boxset for all him albums. As far as the outtakes go, I hope they don't put any rehashed records (i.e Cheater, Streetwalker, Fly Away) on there. Maybe "Price of Fame" and "Hot Fever" along with "Al Capone" and "Chicago 1945"

Maybe the amount is not huge like those other artists, but I do believe it is a bigger amount than what's being reported.

I haven't watched this in years, especially cause the quality was not that great, but I'm in LOVE! Damn mike!

They just found another film print of Moonwalker recently so a new Blu Ray of Moonwalker could be done. Moonwalker's been out of print in the states since the 90s disbelief

From the 1985-87 sessions, I think of the 11 songs that made the cut, then:

Come Together

Strawberry Fields Forever

the original version of Someone Put Your Hand Out

Throwing Your Life Away (I think the estate "remixed" this one recently so we may get it on the next album neutral )

Streetwalker

Cheater

What You Do To Me (which he reworked for Invincible in 1998)

Chicago 1945

Groove Of Midnight

The Price Of Fame (which was originally in the 1987-88 Pepsi commercials but then were replaced by Bad)

Al Capone

Buffalo Bill

Fly Away

Make Or Break

Michael McKeller

Tomboy

Hot Fever which is the original version of The Way You Make Me Feel

then the early versions of Speed Demon, Liberian Girl, Smooth Criminal (with Roger Troutman) Dirty Diana, and Another Part of Me from 1985

Matter of fact, Hot Fever, Tomboy and a couple of others are in the hands of some fans....they just won't share along with I Am A Loser and People Of The World from 1998

I definitely agree with thesexofit. The estate and Sony aren't marketing any of these releases to the fanbase or music fans. They're marketing them to casual listeners and kids. Fans would drool over a huge boxset dedicated to Off The Wall or that cancelled 5.1 surround sound edition of Thriller but instead, we get bullshit

I think he left behind a lot of unreleased material. Not a vault of thousands of tapes, but I think he left behind enough music for a couple of albums and inclusions on boxsets. Hell, they could release a set with just demos and I'd be happy lol

Not really, this was when Sony/BMG released Thriller 25 and ABDC (during Season 1) decided to dedicate the entire show to that album. Here are the highlights:

I spent the last 2 hours watching Steinburg in full finally. I didn't get emotional for michael, I kept laughing cause Steinburg's expressions were just too hot, and I felt like they were talking about someone else on a crime show, like I was completely desensitized to it. I LOVE him! But I was mocking Murray sitting with his hands on his chin, and joking about what he was possibly drawing lol

Like a 13-year-old Mike Singletary ... Paris Jackson was a focused instrument of destruction as a linebacker during a flag football game in L.A. yesterday.

Jackson -- who's the very first female in the history of her private school to join the squad -- also played a little offensive line ... and got STRAIGHT UP PHYSICAL with the boys, throwing some pretty aggressive blocks.

But Paris wasn't the only celebu-spawn on the gridiron ... Oksana Grigorieva and Timothy Dalton were standing on the sidelines to support their son, Alexander, who's also on PJ's team.

Jackson's school emerged victorious ... and after the game, she tweeted about it ... saying, "We Won 32-6!!!!!!!! Yeahhh Boiiiiii!"
