I think the video for Batman is one of his best though it scared me as a kid. And the dancing made me think a little bit of MJ too, so I'm not too surprised.

Wow! Never heard of that one. As a huge Batman fan and a Michael Jackson fan at the time that would have been huge for me. Batman was the first Prince album I ever bought back in '89.

Not technically correct.

The batman soundtrack was initially envisioned to be an album of two sides - a dark side done by prince and a light side done by MJ.

Conflicts prevented MJ recording, and Prince continued.

The initial concept has been credited to Tim Burton, although I have also read it was Jack Nicholson's idea.

The whole Batman concept was a masterpiece 4 Prince. I like what he did with it and his character the joker which continue through his "Partyman" video. Why didn't MJ do the other half?

The Prosecuter just played a portion of Michael under the influence talking to Conrad Murray that was recorded on Dr. Murray's iPhone. He sounded terrible, like an old man. He didn't even sound like him..

Where are you watching the broadcast?

They were very detailed of everything leading up to his untimely death. I know his family was mortified hearing all of this. By the way Janet looked breathtaking entering the trial...

Whatever, it seems the defense are trying to make it seem that insecurities = suicide to me.

Also, I said it once and I'll say it again, as a doctor, he abandoned his patient and fed him a fatal cocktail. I don't really know why, but that is what the problem is. I don't care what kind of man he was. I don't really care if MJ was really a drug addict or not. The point is that the doctor had a responsibility to his patient that he failed to fulfill it.

For that reason alone, I think that the man deserves to lose his license. No one that irresponsible should be treating anyone. If he is the just the fall guy apart of a bigger scheme, then may the truth come out in my lifetime one day.

He was very incoherent & his real voice is a lot deeper than his public voice he use to use all the time.

I like how MJ compartmentalize so much in his life that not even Conrad Murray didn't even know what MJ was doing while he was supposed to under his watch. =/

Just said MJ DIED INSTANTLY (didn't even have time to close his eyes) after basically "eating" lorazepam pills while Murray was outta the room and then injected himself with the fatal dose of propofol.

If he dies instantly, then Murray's timeline and telling the EMTs that MJ had a pulse and had only been "down" or in trouble for a few minutes when EMT got there because he had "just been talking to him" is HOGWASH!

Well we live in a very cynical world and that recording of MJ's voice in that condition is going to be heavily criticized and of course taunt by the impeccable commentators and public but i would like to mention something that not many people, besides his fans of course, will point out. That even in that condition where Michael could barely pronounce his name, he still mentions that he wants to built a hospital in order to help kids. Even after what was done to him and the amount of betrayal and ridicule that he faced in his life, he still wanted to help.

God have mercy on all our soul...

I love you, Michael...always have, always will.

And so it begins....

No doubt the defence will try to paint Michael in a bad light to cast doubt, but surely if Murray knew Michael was an "addict" and had "injested" drugs before, then surely this heightens his duty of care. If you know someone is a pyro, you don't leave them alone in a room with matches.

Now this isn't to say I think what the defense is saying is true - I'm just saying it's a shakey approach to be taking as it unwittingly makes Murray even more incompetent, which is what he is being charged with.

At the end of the day, the trial won't be about Truth per se, but rather about winning, and both sides will alter their strategies as the case goes on.

Hopefully when all is said an done, justice is served and Michael can rest in peace.

Hearing the voice of MJ so drugged out on propofol, and seeing MJ's body picture there in the hospital garbs, and seeing poor ol' Kenny Ortega all nervous on the stand, and then seeing Brian Oxman's reaction to today that Arnie was givin Michael dimmerol shots before Murray came on the scene, is all so fascating and yet so so so so sad. I took a half personal day from work to watch the trial, and by the time I went back, I was just sick to my stomach.

I wanna know the details and come to my own conclusions from the evidence presented so I will totally tune into the trial and read what I can about it, but damn, as a fan, it is painful.

One final thing...LOVE YOU MJ. I'm posting on a Prince forum how much I love you. Hope that means something to you!

Poor MJ! His poor family!!! I blocked out how horrific this was all going to be. So many things I can't get over and this is only the first day. I can't get over how frequently MJ was being served up/taking this Propofol. And the fact that Conrad Murray ordered up another 255 vials. The fact that they showed him on that hospital bed. Was that necessary? What's more, is that the defense is saying Michael helped himself to it, by drinking it! I felt like someone had slapped me when I heard that! I know that it will get worse before it gets better.

There was bit of humor that came out today though. AEG originally wanted to do 10 shows, but Micheal wanted to do 31. Why 31? Because it's 10 more than Prince did.
