I feel like I've said this about a billion times, but the Cascio songs are 10000000000000% fake. I'm a professional musician, engineer and familiar with pretty much every vocal processing plugin on the planet including Melodyne. The reason those vocals don't sound like Michael are not down to any plugin. The reason they don't sound like him is because it's NOT him.

And if you can't see why they would make fake songs, you are pretty blinkered....

Michael Jackson's Son to Make First Solo Appearance

Thursday September 22, 2011 03:25 PM EDT

In his first solo foray into the limelight, Michael Jackson's eldest son, Prince Michael, will be in Berlin for a Nov. 10 auction in support of a cause dear to his late father's heart: helping disadvantaged kids.

The 14-year-old will be there for the sale of his dad's handwritten composition of the hit "Bad." All proceeds from the auction will go to the Tribute to Bambi foundation, which supports organizations in Germany that aid needy children.

"Prince Michael Jackson will walk the red carpet and present the manuscript on stage surrounded by children," a spokesperson for the event tells PEOPLE.

The teen is expected to arrive with an entourage but without relatives. "He won't be traveling alone," says a source close to the event, "but he won't have any family members with him."

In 2002, when he was 5, Prince Michael visited Berlin with his father, sister Paris and brother Blanket for the same event. (Staying at the Adlon Hotel on that occasion, Michael memorably dangled baby Blanket over the balcony before adoring fans.)

In previous auctions for the charity, Michael's glittery jacket and an autographed guitar went on the block, in in 2002 and 2009, respectively.

Those wishing to bid on the "Bad" manuscript may do so online between now and Nov. 10, at United Charity.

Asked to predict how much the manuscript might fetch, a spokeswoman laughed and said, "Hopefully, a whole lot!"

hmmm...interesting.

i wonder whose handwritten lyrics they really are. they could be lyrics that mj gave to someone else who is now auctioning them.

b/c if they are mj's, the estate would 'own' them. i can't see them putting these lyrics up for auction or involving prince in something like this. they are about to fund the charitable trust, so why the need to auction off this valuable piece of mj memorabilia? when the kids were signing the belts, they objected saying that mj would never want his kids doing this sort of thing.

i wonder what is really going on.

so my 'spidee senses' were correct. if he has mj's property and is auctioning it off, i'm sure there is a 'rake off' here for him, and possibly joe jackson. aren't they in business together?

my mother was just saying how sad she is for mj3, that their lives are going to be filled with leeches, just as their father's life was. i agree, and it makes it hard to watch b/c you know that there is no one around them to warn them.

To this day I have a love hate relationship with Invincible. I've posted my indepth track by track review of it many times, (those new to the chat I can org note it to you if you like) but suffice to say I feel it is too long, and loses it's focus.

The sequencing is off for a CD (made sense as a double album), but if it had been trimmed down to 9 or 10 tracks it would have been a different story all together. There are some great tracks on there like Heratbreaker, Break Of Dawn, Butterflies, Whatever Happens but there were also some repeats with this albums take on Man in The Mirror and Thriller.

As a first single YRMW was an ok choice. The rush release of CRY as a result of 9/11 and the hastly produced video probably made MJ feel like the record company was calling the shots and not him. This would have been the start of the end of that relationship.

Many fans cite that MJ kept a lot fo the great songs off Invincible, but whilst a song like SHOUT is interesting as it offers a broardening of MJ's range it's not a classic killer track that we had come to expect.

I'm yet to hear other off cuts that make me think "how did he not include THIS" but I do hope they are out there.

Well, if that Melodyne thing is the reason why Michael doesn't really sound like Michael on these tracks then the easiest thing would be to release the unaltered original vocal tracks... make them available as a download and proof it really is Michael. They are not using that, so I have to assume these songs are not 100% Michael.

Yeah, it would make sense for them to do that, but just because they didn't doesn't prove they're guilty..

I know you've said it a billion times, but you have no proof (do you?) except your own ear.. tons of people hear Michael, tons don't. With no evidence whatsoever to prove the songs are fake, I remain unconvinced.. honestly, I don't think the songs are that good anyway, but it's really something how Michael Jackson fans, after all MJ went through, could be so quick to judge someone/something without any evidence..

And I never said I can't see why they'd do it.. I said I can't see legitimate evidence that they did make fake songs. Again, if you have any real evidence, I'm very interested. I want to know the truth about these songs as I'm a huge fan and have been for much of my life, but I'm not going to just say 'It sounds like Michael' or 'It doesn't sound like Michael' and assume my ear is 100% right.

If you're not interested in discussing this, you don't have to reply, and I'll drop it. I just wanted to make my thoughts known as I've never discussed it here before, and someone else posted a news story about the Cascio songs. I won't believe the songs are fake until some kind of evidence other than just someone saying they're fake is presented. I think that's logical.

And if you didn't read my last post [page 2], the fact that Michael's family says the vocals are fake does not count to me as real evidence.

If you want to, you can orgnote me your review, and I'll read it. I agree that the sequencing is bad. I also think there's not enough uptempo songs; and I know it's pretty long, but I personally like longer albums, so that's not a problem for me.

Just like with Prince, or any other artist, I don't think you can compare Invincible to Thriller, an album he made 20 years prior. I think Invincible is a great (but flawed) album, but I wouldn't dare compare it to any of his other work; I don't think it can compare.

Still, the following songs rank high among my favorite MJ tracks: Heartbreaker, Break Of Dawn, You Rock My World, Don't Walk Away, Whatever Happens

I would have left off: Heaven Can Wait, You Are My Life, Privacy and Cry - although I think they're fine songs, they're not up to Michael's standards. They're pleasant filler, but they are still filler imo..

I think people are just sick of rehashing the same points. This has been discussed to death and there are plenty of reasons to believe it isn't Michael. You can get what you're looking for by a simple search, either here or at MaxJax forum. Bottom line is, to anyone that know's Michael's voice inside and out and has an ear for music, it is plainly obvious, obvious, OBVIOUS that it isn't Michael singing. But yeah, my advice, use the search function.

Been M.I.A. for too many hours to write responses, so here goes:

I can't stop thinking about the Invincible era these days, I feel like it's 2001 all over again, like a 10 year anniversary, but without him alive and I'm shaking my head at him being gone this way, cause I can't admit it. I get hyper too over him, cause I'm in total denial of this trial happening. I can't always listen to the whole album in full, I have to be in the mood for it.

I was driving for an hour tonight in the rain and played most of the album, and it sounded BEAUTIFUL! I was really, really feeling the beauty and love of it and the pureness. I remember how inspired I was by it a decade ago and used his work on it as a muse for creating my own work at a time when I had issues going on in my life. When I'm in the mood for the whole album, I'm fine, when not, I like about 10 songs on it best. Singing along to it is something I really enjoy too.

About the promo and songs, I don't think Unbreakable was supposed to be first. I never believed that because I'm certain that in early July 2001, it said on a very trusted MJ site that YRMW was going to be the first single. People criticized the first single, but on more than one occasion at different locations, cars would pass by blasting that song that fall,so I think the r&b loving crowd embraced it well and it was played at clubs with the jay z rap. The song leaked and went to #10 in week 2 and 3. If they released it as a single right away, it would have jumped to #1, so it's not like it wasn't good enough to climb. People definitely knew about the song because of the video premiere, and Butterflies if they were into r&b radio, but I also ran into a lot of mj lovers that did not know the new album was already out until they found me listening to it on headphones at school! And I remember a time when even if you weren't a fan or knew him in passing, you still knew he was active while it was happening, and he was not being given first priority this time like back then at all. It was Blood On the Dancefloor treatment, but with higher sales. Enrique Iglesias, J LO and Destiny's Child were Sony's priorities, Michael and Mariah Carey were not.

I remember a petition for Whatever Happens to be released in 2002, but it didn't work. I'm glad Heaven Can Wait charted, even if low on r&b radio and with no release. And I LOOOOVE Shout, the lyrics are AMAZING! I still wish MJ did a rock album, very much like how Prince did Chaos & Disorder.

I understand people not wanting to discuss it anymore. We don't have to discuss it anymore; I just stated my opinion once because somebody else brought up an article relating to the Cascio songs.

Your reply offers no evidence, which is what I was looking for, and instead just basically says that anybody who disagrees with you has no ear for music and doesn't know Michael's voice well.

I've used the search function and read as much info about these songs as I can find. I've yet to find a reason to believe they are fake, other than that some think it doesn't sound like him, and some say it isn't him.

Again, my only point for posting about the Cascio songs was to ask anyone with real evidence to please share it.

Here was my original post on Page 2 for anyone who didn't look at it:

The1592 said:

[...]I remain unconvinced that the songs are fake (I'm not saying they are real, either; and I'm ready to be attacked by all of you), and I don't understand how the word of The Jackson family (who have done nothing but try to profit any way they can off of Michael's name) is more trustable than the word of Teddy Riley, Bruce Swedien, Frank DiLeo, Dr. Freeze, The Cascios, and many others who worked with MJ, and who MJ trusted. The argument that they're all lying for $$ really has no substance. Then again there's no substance to any argument that the songs are fake (please do correct me if I'm wrong about this). Just that your ear hears an imposter.

[...]Again, I'm not claiming the songs to be real, but I see not one substantial piece of evidence that they are fake, and I believe in innocent until proven guilty, just as I did during the child molestation trial..

Anyone with no interest in discussing this can just ignore it, and I won't bring it up again.

Typo edit.

You're wrong. There were MANY reasons other than just opinion given for why it isn't Michael singing. Here and elsewhere. If you can't find these posts fine, but they are there. There's multiple hundred page threads on Max Jax that you could take a look at (although it's down right now). But be prepared to do hours upon hours of reading.

I know it's not him singing those Cascio songs at all. No matter how much techology exists out there you can't convince me that it changed the characteristics of someone's voice. Nope. MJ's voice and whoever is singing on those Cascio tracks sound like two different people and the singer on the Cascio tracks sounds waaaay less an accomplished vocalist than MJ.

I don't have an solid proof, like video proof, but I have my gut instinct...and I trust myself more than anyone else. As you are new to this discussion I do think it's wrong for people to be dismissive to you, but as someone who was here for the discussions I can understand how the other posters feel. This was a discussion that took up a lot of posts for quite a few threads even outside of the sticky. There were a ton of arguments with many people thinking that the fact that they are a musicians somehow validated their opinions. While I do trust and agree with Militant, but if you, personally, are unable hear and spot the differences in even the vocal techniques then what he, I, or anyone whose opinion is different from your own will bear no weight to you.

If even if his children have been put on record claiming that don't believe that's their father singing...then I don't know you know? That being said I do recommend going to the search box and typing in 'Cascio songs.' It takes all but less than 10 seconds. I would tell you check out Maxjax, but the forum is down, but they had the most extensive threads about it there.

I say wait about 10-15 or so years. Everyone is under contract to stfu, but within 10 or so years time, contracts will be up and someone will come out fo the woodwork and reveal something.

Well, I have been reading stuff on this site, and on other fan sites, but I've found nothing so far. For the record, I have been an MJ fan for many years, and I only brought the Cascios back up because somebody else posted a news story about 'Breaking News' and 'Monster'. I figured people weren't interested in talking about it anymore, and I told them they didn't have to reply, but they did, so I kept talking about it.

I understand why people doubt the songs - the vocals do sound strange, but countless fans and MJ associates say they're real, so what makes one persons word or ear more valuable than another's? Since so many people doubt the songs, I doubt them too, but I refuse to write the songs off as fake unless I'm sure they are.

It's fine if everyone wants to drop this topic, I've said that since I first brought it up. But it's not like there's much else going on in this thread. I brought this up before everyone started talking about Invincible.

The people claiming the songs are real have an agenda - they are all people getting paid by the Estate or being given work. Riley, Freeze, etc.

3T have never shown themselves to be anything other then devoted to their uncle and his legacy, they also have no agenda. The scandal with the songs almost killed the whole project and has damaged the Estate's reputation. All they would have had to do was release unedited vocal tracks that prove it's Michael. Or video footage. Or handwritten lyrics by Michael. Or anything where he even MENTIONED these songs. They haven't done so because none of that stuff exists. Is it a coincidence these songs were not registered until after Michael died? It's been said by Will.I.Am that Michael kept his vocals on a hard drive and Will kept the music he'd produced... that was the same year, but somehow Cascio's have vocals? Akon stuff was recorded same year, but on those, Michael actually sounds like Michael, because it is him.

The Cascio songs are another person, and we know who. There was a great video online before with Cascio clips and clips of Jason Malachi songs back to back, clearly and obviously the same person.

Anyway, don't know if the leaked demo versions of "Monster" and "Breaking News" are still around, I have them somewhere, but they make it even MORE obvious that it's not him.

Definitly... there is no way in hell Michael is singing on any of those tracks...

Alright, I know some are going to be pissed, but what do you all think of this video specifically????

Especially since this aired on Headline News.

About him being kidnapped.

Why do Jermaine, and now Prince, keep wearing Michael's arm band on the wrong arm? That's Hitler's side, not MJ's. confused

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
