Welcome to the org.

Sometimes I feel I'm in playground.

Cheers Amy!!!

Her body ain't even cold and folks are eager to act a fool instead of letting people grieve, discuss her and honor her if they want to without having to sift through a bunch of nonsense. But like you said it IS the Org. disbelief

I got the news about it THERE^ just moments ago. This is tragic, without question.

But lets us be real for a moment. I'm not surprise about Amy's death TBDH (no pun intended). This is the same woman that once dare sang a song that mocked the idea of going to Rehab, despite that it was her on-agan, off-again drug problem that marked the beginning of her end.

Damn, somebody beat me to this thread...

This hurts to say but I once said that the way she was going, she'll probably be dead by 27 which in some essence may immortalise her and induct her into the "27 club" alongside Kurt, Jimi, Janis & Jim.

Loss is sad, I can't say i'm surprised, but the 27 thing has thrown me...

'dre

Don't forget Brian Jones in this 27-club... sad

and Jonathan Brandis...

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

Wow, this is really sad sad

I know everyone is ""not surprised", but I still had hope that she'd be able to clean up her act and get healthy one day.

My best friend and I were debating over whether she would be able to recapture the essence of her last album again just 2 days ago. disbelief

If you will, so will I

Clean up your act George Michael

Same thing goes for Boy George, Eli DeBarge (who is rumored to relapsed recently), Lindsey Lohan, & Jeff Hardy. All of these druggies within the entertainment industry in general need to go to rehab and get sober.

I don't give a fuck, I'm shocked. Yes, she was a mess, as are a lot of celebs. But when this happens it still takes people by surprise.

I really hope this isn't true. cry

Thank you! Something about all the "Well, saw this coming!" and "Oh, no surprise!" responses to her death really rubs me the wrong way confused

Yeah! Prince warned her about her live style 4 years ago... some people just don't listen.

Even though it is not a surprise considering her lifestyle, death should always incite feelings of sadness or shock...especially when her life was taken at such a young age....she will be missed rose

Commenting here on this board really has no great purpose other than to let

fellow boarders know that I am sorry she died and that she has gained peace;

I guess we can all share in this remorse.

But as soon as I felt remorse, I realized that I was only personally pained

for her because she is a celebrity; don't forget the people who died in Norway

and the famine in Somalia. They weren't celebrities but everywhere, isn't

human life sacred?

I do have her first two albums, probably spin them later.

FUCK FUCK FUCK!!! This is so sad, I'd really hoped that she would pull herself together, what a beautiful talent that is now gone. I feel so badly for her goddaughter and had just ordered her new album. Guess it will be a day spent listening to Amy's wonderful voice. When she was onstage with P in London, I really hoped there'd be someday when they could work together again.

Bless you Amy and thanks for the awesome music you gave us! angel

THIS^ was her biggest career hit single. I don't apology for what I said in my first post.

But in the interest of keeping the peace, I'll still give Amy a rose , since her loyal fans & stans are mourning.

What a horrible tragedy. So young, and with all the world's possibilities. And none of it matters.
