I just listened to this song again and laughed at the guy who was being "MJ". Anyway...cant pick the sample out...I let my friend who was playing poker here listen to it and she just said...."no" after ten seconds of hearing this mess. Straight Jacket Funk Affair

There's no Wal-Mart near where I live or I would have gotten it already. I wonder why Wal-Mart already has it in stock though? "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

apparently, MJ used to go out in professional disguises a great deal of times!

I wouldn't mind seeing a re-release of OTW with a few outtakes from the session.
I don't see many albums being released with unreleased MJ music. I think they'll give us about 2 more albums of unreleased music, and the rest will be re-releases. Again, I know that MJ recorded a lot of music, but I really feel so much of it is unfinished vocally...

a saw a snippet of randy taraborelli saying the estate haas about 20 songs they feel worth releasing.
and how proud michael would have been of this album, that last i dont believe

I wish they would just release HQ versions of the already leaked records we have (Hot Street, Nite Line, Scared of the Moon...etc) but I see that they're goal is to create an album with a consistent flow rather than putting an album out just to appeal to the die hard fans hopefully songs like
Man in Black Michael McKellar Rolling The Dice Stand Tall The Toy Buffalo Bill Doing Dirty Never Landing
and other gems Michael mentioned will surface...I really don't care much for anything after 1994 era

So what your saying is Teddy Riley should have the ability to be insulted for a week straight, while at the time being very polite, and continue to do so.
He was polite for a week of MJ fans bashing him which im sure he is not used to hearing.
Now what? Keep a smile on his face and continue to answer questions without insulting them back. What MAN does that?
If anything is fake is SOME MJ fans and refusing to remember you insulted Teddy Riley for a week straight. while he continued to be nice. Finally the GHETTO came out of him
Who's fault is that? Had you not been so emotional and obsessed with dissing him, then he would have not responded like that. Stop lying and acting like he did this out the blue. Dude was cool and taking the negativity left and right and finally decided to fight back. [Edited 12/13/10 23:16pm]

So it appears as if my "Behind The Mask" OG Vibe clip is now making the rounds on a few more places than I originally posted. Just stumbled across a discussion about it on a French MJ forum, Google Translate helped me out a bit. Could be something lost in translation but it seems like one poster was accusing ME of adding bits to the song from other places? As if I would!
Anyway, I hope to work on the mix a little bit more today. It's very tricky but I'm making some good progress on it. |

Thanks for sharing! [Although you aren't supposed to post links ]
This still isn't the full version, though. Someone has tried the best they could to paste together the snippets that have been released and remove the obnoxious DJ, but the bridge has been cut off. It's longer in another snippet I have. I wish the full version would just leak already.

JRT....full of crap as always
They have over 100 songs but they probably won't release them all on "new albums" but on compilations like the Immortal World Tour and the OTW and Bad reissues "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

You need to understand, that those tracks were DEMOS. They don't EXIST in "HQ versions", period. Well, apart from the fact that they were MP3's, not lossless audio. Demos are meant as a guideline for them to use when they are supposed to finish them - but never did.
Ok, Michael's vocals, for instance on "Hot Streets", sound like they could be "re-used". That's why, earlier in this thread, I tried to suggest suggest something along the lines of: take those vocal tracks from those unreleased gems (like "Hot Streets"), have Quincy at the helm, and finish them old-school style with an actual studio band (preferrably the guys who played on Off The Wall and Thriller), and then perhaps add them as "bonus" to some remastered edition.
(But I seem to be having a monologue on this forum, I guess you don't take kindly to newbies...so it's no wonder nobody listened...) [Edited 12/14/10 3:26am]

That's not true. You're welcome!
I talked about the reverse of the coin. I don't want what you suggested at all. 'Hot Street' with todays production is a horrible thought to me, and i don't think that would be respectful to the musicians who performed originally. I've got it in WAV and it's really perfect. If CD's were around in '82 it would have made it on to 'Thriller'. I know Michael loved it and was reluctant to pull it.
The credits on the 'Ultimate Collection' are a bit ropey. 'Scared Of The Moon' doesn't sound like a demo to me. I think that's a finished production, no doubt about it. Same possibly goes for 'Cheater' and 'Sunset Driver'. Songs like these deserve a release on expanded versions of their respective albums. I think that'll happen alongside a few other demos and songs that just never made the cut.

anyway do you know if that thank you song was ever completed ? you are so beautifull"

They're fronting. There is a TON of material available. The way they are treating the fans is a disgrace and completely disrespectful. Not being upfront about songs in the vault, releasing songs as Michael Jackson that aren't even sung by him! Michael would be disgusted.

Did you even bother reading my post(s)? I've never in one way or other said that those songs should be produced utilizing "today's production" (your words, but I know what you mean). Even above, I suggested that they take just the vocal track, and produce it old school with an actual studio band, preferrably the guys who played on those records. It's very possible to produce an analog-sounding record these days, you don't HAVE to have Lady GaGa's synth sounds on everything because of the fact it's produced in 2010. Mostly that's the case because "today's music" is being produced (note: this word has also changed its meaning these days, today it means a sort of jack-of-all-trades working alone on a computer) by a single dude, not an actual band playing charts. Anyway - what I'm saying is that the equipment those old LP's were recorded on certainly hasn't disappeared.
Also, I think you're confusing SOUND/AUDIO QUALITY with a FINISHED TRACK. Just because a track sounds "ok", doesn't mean it's actually finished. I'll give you an example: compare the raw "Starlight Sun" to the finished "Thriller". Yes, the electric piano and synth brass parts, the basic structure is all there - but it's in no way finished. You catch my drift? The playing isn't tight enough, they would arrange and add more synth parts, multiple tracks after tracks.
And yes, some of those tracks were more finished than others, but I'd still argue that for example "Sunset Driver", as "complete" as it sounds, is still a demo or at least unfinished.
Anyway, I suggested all this as a viable ALTERNATIVE to what they did on "Michael", originally. I'm not actually claiming that those tracks should be tampered with. I'd be more than happy if they just took them, mixed and mastered them for release. I love 'em as it is.

^^I like the idea of taking the old vocals, bringing in a real band of musicians (preferably the same ones who played on 'OTW' and 'Thriller') and producing/finishing these songs Old School style.I dislike the idea of taking old, unfinished tracks and "modernizing" them to sound like 2010.My feeling is,if a song was originally written and recorded in 1982,THAT'S the era I want it to sound like.

He is taking negativity left and right because he didnt have any respect to Michael Jacksons family or his children..or Quincy Jones. If you are going to roll with what comes out your mouth you better deal with the repercussions. He definitley did not have respect to the fans in the promotion of fake vocals too. What man says that MIchael's own family is lying about fake vocals? What do they have to win out of that situation? It's only 3 songs... Why would they have to lie? What are we gaining from that? Nothing. A lie is a lie point blank. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
