I think you should.....
how come MJ create a beat that doesn't fit with his vocals ? This is bullshit...Teddy speeding the vocals up to fit the beat...Again...this is bullshit......Some serious shady shit was done on those Uncompleted songs ......

It's a beautiful number. This was supposed to be the song he was going to sing at the concerts too. [Edited 12/13/10 18:12pm]

Yeah obviously I was talking about the thoughts in having the physical product - the booklet, the notes, the artwork, the music - the whole shebang.
And Timmy - i thought you were holding off too til you got the physical product, lol. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"

Not sure if this has been posted here already. I didn't get to check the last few pages of the last MJ thread..
This is a link the full download of Slave to the Rhythm. Love this song. Anyone know when it might have been recorded?
** whoops! been off the site for a few days and didn't read the moderator's disclaimer*** I took off the link.

Does anyone knows who recorded "Mamacita"? It has a nice latin beat. Sometimes, the name comes up as MJ and sometimes Jason Malachi.

I don't know, it sounds like one of those 80s dance songs. I could totally picture this as a club song. His vocals don't sound 90s... more like the 2000s, but the beat fits an earlier period. I'm stumped!
But I love this song!!

Regarding "Monster", out of all three Cascio songs this sounds the LEAST like Michael. I'm honestly shocked that anyone thinks that's MJ. It's just not. |
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
you're going to get in trouble for that.
but this easily beats almost everything that made it onto "Michael"
I hope prodcuers, engineers, and anyone else with tapes starts coming forward with this kind of stuff. another album on par with the quality of "Michael" is going to derail any plans Sony or his family had of making any money off of unreleased tracks.

"Slave To The Rhythm" is absolutely killer.
Seriously, how freakin' hard would it have been to replace the three fake songs with this one, "Blue Gangster" and "Do You Know/12 O' Clock"? We would have had a solid album then.

My thoughts exactly. And it totally fits the club/radio scene. I still dont' get it. I think they're trying to milk the album any way they can. They're probably saving Slave to the Rhythm for the next album (packaged with a few fake ones, of course)

The one thing I like about "Monster" is all the samples of Michael during the rap the "Ha!" (Where is it from again? I'm a longtime fan but I'm terrible at placing any samples unless it is as obvious as the "Earth Song" rip off.) I consider "Monster" almost like a Jason Malachi song featuring samples of Michael..so I enjoy it. And honestly, the lyrics are pretty much on par with Michael's writing style. I'm not excusing the fakery of it all but just saying...they did a nice job trying to pull a bait and switch on us. No matter if Michael really did contribute to writing any of it or not, it is an OKAY song IMO.

The "Monster" beat is much more funkier and relates towatds todays music than "slave to the rythyum" which is a good song...But you can't BUMP it in your car like "monster"
Hip Hop fans are lovin this track because of the base. If you got a good sound system in your car and you feel the base Teddy Riley put together. When i 1st heard it on the computer, i couldn't hear the base in this song. Put it on in the car and i was like damn....This is a track NON FANS will love
Even at the Barber shop. Dudes who are not even MJ fans. Been going there for years and remember playing YRMW..and they were like thats NOT HOT....lol

I'm with you on that Vanilli. I'm generally not commenting on the quality of the songs, because I actually fairly enjoy "Monster" and "Keep Your Head Up"..... and even "Breaking News" to a lesser extent.
And, I have no problem believing that Michael wrote these songs either. It's just not him singing them. The sad thing is, if they just admitted from the beginning that they got someone else to sing some songs that Michael had written, none of us would have had a problem with it. They could have just stuck "Blue Gangster", "Do You Know" and "Slave To The Rhythm" on the album and had the three Cascio songs as bonus tracks.
But trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes and convince everyone it's Michael is just ridiculous and shameful. |

According to John Branca, MJ was taking the track "Best of Joy" to London to finish it. So it is truly one of the final songs he recorded. MJ Fan 1992-Forever

Looky what is on eBay for 25,000.00 buy it now. According to the listing, Michael drew this as a self portrait for someone who worked at Neverland Valley Ranch.
It sure looks like his drawing style and the signature looks legit IMO.
I know there is that whole thing of an artist's art revealing more about the "artist" then the art itself..but this is just spooky.
At any rate, here is the listing:
