Seriously.

First of all, the world does not need a remake of Footloose with Zac Efron or whatever kid of the moment they decide to throw in the mix. Must everything be remade?

Second of all, I'd be pissed that this wasn't somehow worked out prior to or around MJ's schedule.

well, we heard mumblings but it was just that, small mentions

and Jackie, you're right about a Footloose remake....

but a House Party remake..... lol

lol I know House Party is a must-have for some.

I have not heard from him yet and I'm dying to because he travels a lot for work and purposely rearranged his travel around the shows. He also turned down tickets for later shows so he could go to the early ones in case of cancellation or postponement. Go figure.

This is what I don't get . . . if the shit is so fucked up, not ready, a safety concern, yada, yada, yada . . . why is the opening night still on the same date yet the following nights are postponed??? confuse

nah, the opening date is changed to

it was the 8th but now it's the 13th

They needed the extra time to stage the show in O2 and there were conflicts with other artists performing ahead of MJ there. They need the time to set up and walk it through

Well, damn that explains my confusion. dunce

There has to be someway this could've been avoided cuz you know there are HELLA people from all over the world that were planning to come. disbelief

I still don't understand why these shows have to be second to The Big Bang.

Michael doing a scaled down show would be the biggest surprise of all. In today's economic climate, with financial collapses and people trying to conserve and embrace the idea of less is more... a huge show seems unfitting. I really love simplistic shows but then I like minimalism. I don't want to go to a concert that looks like a Michael Bay production. lol

It would but we know Michael doesn't do anything scaled down, it's gotta be big or it isn't gonna work. He's had that mentality since 1967.

Oh please even before the first allegations people thought MJ had lost the plot. People have been realizing that since 86, they have been calling him Wacko Jacko since 87 or before!! It's just that after the allegations it just reinforced something was really wrong with Michael and he was completely living on an another universal.

I was glad when MJ sold out quickly but I knew that there was going to be a problem, that's just how Michael's life is now, full of problems and ambiguity. Fact. The problem about lots of Michael's fans nowadays is that they have not got glue about Michael pre-Thriller so they truely believe all the problems happening to Michael is media driven and to do with conspiracy rather Michael himself and those that he surrounds himself with is the problem.

I wasn't implying that by my statement. It just seems like u as well as many others on this forum seem to like to kick an music artist, not only MJ when they are down....and harass them half to death. We seem to forget especially in america that is too obessed with pop culture that these celebrities are human and not perfect and we should stop putting them on these pedestals. I totally agree with you on what u said...many fans think it's only media driven and many fans don't think it's completely media driven. It just like everytime we have a discussion in here about music, especially when it comes to Michael Jackson...we just talk about his personal life. Can we concretrate on the music/entertainment PLEASE??!! I've noticed with a lot of the older generation all you guys can talk about is his personal life while the younger generation can talk about his music/entertainment. It's funny because u guys were the ones who grew up with beginning of his career.

You know Joe was saying "don't give me any little shit, it's gotta be TWICE as big or it ain't gonna work!" lol And Motown instilled that in him even more. Berry Gordy said "we're gonna make you the biggest". What you think 11-year-old Michael took from those statements? lol

I know some of my friends got hookups with the airlines so they aren't exactly mad....and they bought tickets for later shows.

From the small clips I've seen, I can sort of understand why their going into so much detail with the choreography and the stage production

The safety plays a part too. Seeing Michael fall during the lean in Smooth Criminal has already happened lol

and not to mention that incident in 1999

and what you mean House Party is a must have for SOME?!

that movie is an American classic, like The Last Dragon! lol

Yeah no excuses can be made about this one. It's f-ed up and I feel bad for the fans who have lost out on airfare and hotel money. I don't think it's fair to solely blame Michael though. He is not the one who is putting the show toegether all by himself, so all the parties involved are to blame. What I do notice though is that MJ and his team always seem to be VERY disorganized. How could they not have anticipated this from the start? And why would you re-schedule dates from July all the way to next year?! That's just not right. If I had tix to one of those shows i'd be pissed.

All I'm hoping is that MJ doesn't cancel or postpone any more dates and makes it through all 50 shows. That's probably unlikely lol, but him and his team really need to pull it together 'cause all they're doing is proving the media and naysayers right. It just looks bad all around.
"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart
