I saw it and I really loved it.
I know that not everyone agrees but I thought this tour was amazing. Easily as much of an experience as Confessions for me anyway. The beat goes on was amazing and yes just as exciting as the clip. I cant watch the clips though - they feature the crowd too much. Going to wait for the official DVD. Have you had your + signs today?

It's so funny when the guy filming realises she's about to dance past him, and all the guys beside him go all screamy queeny jazz-hands. I nearly fell over laughing! She really seemed to enjoy dancing in the faces - great fun! It was an AMAZING concert. Really really amazing. I am now officially obsessed

i think it was better than the clip shown. the thumping beat really worked well in an arena atmosphere. the pimp car and the dance routines worked well. I expected more of Britney though in Human nature. loved the "im not your bitch!" followed by "its britney bitccchh!" Shes not me sounded soooo great too i think it was the live band but im not sure but was sooooo full of attitude and spunk! vintage 1990 madonna! Its hard 4 me to say whats right when all i wanna do is wrong

I didn't see them - I would've exploded, probably - but one of my mates spent ages talking to one of them, and even managed to get his business card. My mate said he tried not to grill him and get all fammy but he managed to ask what Madonna was like and was told she's the best person they've ever worked with. Maybe they have to say that.

It's scarier than the yahoos on the Prince Music & More forum who extoll the virtues of Planet Earth. Albeit, her recent album , although terribly bland, is better than the last two efforts, if only by way of production and material. I wish she would just sing like she means it again. Can somebody please break down this Madonna being the gay man's Jesus thing to me? I admit, she's far less irritating than Janet Jackson to me, and I love True Blue, Like a Prayer and Ray of Light, but still. I don't get it.

Seriously. I was too busy getting to the front to check out merchandise and after the show I totally forgot! Highlights?? Hmm, well, the soundcheck of course... seeing Madonna rehearse in trainers was cool... she did about 4 or 5 songs, the La isla bonita segment... that was really nice, Like a prayer... even though I don't like techno, it worked really well for the show.... the whole production and her energy! Hmm... as for low point, I'd say that "Spanish lesson" song... what a crap song!

That's so cool that you got to see the soundcheck.I heard that she jokingly told you guys "I should make you pay again, since you're getting to see the show twice" or something like that, lol.

Yeah, she said, "I hope you don't mind having to see a couple of songs twice" then she added, "I'll charge you double for that!"... that was really cool!

Exclusive: Madonna's world tour crew threaten to quit over budget travel arrangements By Sara Wallis and Tom Bryant 1/09/2008 The crew on Madonna's world tour has threatened to quit after being put up in a cheap airport hotel while she stayed at a £11,000-a-night castle. Many of her 250 staff were livid at being herded on to an easyJet flight to Nice then stuck in a £50-a-night dingy Campanile hotel. In contrast, Madonna, husband Guy Ritchie, 39, daughter Lourdes, 11, and sons Rocco, eight, and two-year-old David flew in by private jet and booked out luxury hideaway 11th century Chateau Saint Jeannet. An insider said: "Everyone is absolutely furious with her and some of them want to walk out of the tour. They feel they are being treated like second-class citizens, despite all their hard work over the last few months." The 50-year-old singer had 12 close staff on hand at the chateau including her own chef, six-strong beauty team, chiropractor and masseuse. Her must-haves included a helicopter for the short hop to the stadium for the second night of her Sticky and Sweet tour. Sir Elton John and David Furnish were invited back to the chateau after the gig. But backstage her entourage are unhappy at her demands and mood swings. A source said: "Trouble has been brewing for a few months in the Madonna camp, especially since all the claims that her marriage was in crisis. "Now to make matters worse, they are being forced to stay in horrible places and fly on cheap low-cost flights, while she has the lap of luxury. Several are already talking about walking if things don't improve." aource: MIRROR You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

Just read a review of this show that was less than complimentary. It's funny, but concert reviewers seem to be allowed to just tell it like it is. The same is not true for most album reviews. Most concert reviews I've read of Madonna over the years have been poor, but everywhere else she is ludicrously overpraised. There could be a good article in that if someone's willing to break rank.
heartbeatocean said I do think comparing McCain to Hitler is imbicelic.
Madonna is always imbecilic when she tries to make serious points. Her main problem is that..... she. has. no. taste. Her own brother said that and he was right. It's okay to be tasteless when you're just being a tacky pop star, but when trying to make serious statements you need to actually have some sophistication. For all her pretensions and delusions Madonna has never had that. Didn't the same sequence compare Obama to Ghandi or some shit like that? Surely even her biggest defenders must cringe when Madonna tries to make "serious" points. It's always embarrassing. Always. “The man who never looks into a newspaper is better informed than he who reads them, inasmuch as he who knows nothing is nearer to truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors.”

Couple of questions about the tour if anyone knows:-
1. Is Cloud one of Madonna's dancers again?? He's awesome 2. I know Nikki has been kicked into touch but is Donna on backup vocals? 3. Does she warm up the crowd with her resident DJ at the concert like she did at the Radio 1 Big Weekend?? He played an excellent half our set of mash-ups that led into her performance Cheers gang www.filmsfilmsfilms.co.uk - The internet's best movie site!

No, he's not in this show. 2. No, she's pregnant, there's a new girl instead of her. 3. I'm not sure, but I don't think so, there's Robyn or some famous DJ as the opening act at the European shows.
