Dear Krayzie: Newsflash..African-Americans are not monolithic;we are individuals with individual minds. We vary in size, shape and complexions and we don't all eat chicken, ribs, macaroni & cheese and collard greens.. ..(okay, just kidding with ya Krayzie). No but seriously, you can't lump all African-Americans in one group and assume we all prefer one artist over the other, but to answer your question, as an African-American female, I appreciate both artists and their music....

Next time be clearer in the number of which you're qualifying. Also, how do you know that more Blacks prefer MJ over Prince? I always wondered which album knocked "Purple Rain" off the charts in 1984. I never knew it was "Off The Wall". Since that album dominated the charts until the rest of the 1980s, I guess it knocked Michael Jackson's own "Thiller" off the charts also. Again you talk nothing but shit...
