Van Hunt is Van Pissed! He just can't leave it alone, so I had to put him in his place several times.

Lou: You make a few key errors in your assessment of Prince. First, you base your opinion off of his released tracks. He's so prolific and writes so many songs, he simply can't release them off. It's silly to think a prolific artist would write songs of all the same quality. Any true fan of music, and true fan of Prince knows that his best material is unreleased anyway.

And yes, you are no better than a modern r&b artist. For you to judge Prince, when you yourself are not a real artist or capable yourself of writing any great songs (you've never written one well crafted song) tells me all I need to know about you.

Van Hunt: he fact that you even refer to me as a "modern R&B artist" lets me know that you have no idea who i am OR what traditional/ modern R&B is.

and, i didn't bash Prince's songwriting. he no longer writes well-crafted songs. not that he can't. he doesn't even care to write good songs. they are just vehicles for his incredible musicianship and the "mission" that he's on. the fact that he CAN - AT WILL - write brilliant songs WHENEVER HE FEELS LIKE IT, is the greatest compliment to his true talent.

Lou: Prince throws parties for a lot of C-List "celebrities" and 2nd rate musicians. Shit, Lindsay Lohan is at his parties, it doesn't make her a great artist or a great actress. P Diddy is there too, and everyone knows he's worthless.

But I see that has deluded your mind to think you're more than what you are -- less than average, not even a real musician, barely an artist. I mean, who's heard of you? Three people who watched you on BET or something? What has your music ever accomplished, who has it touched? In other words, what has it meant to the world? What's your mark on it?

I think Prince was more of a musician than you could ever hope to be, even as far back as 1979 or 1980. Just because you can't compare in any way, you're a one trick pony, and your music is not a meaningful or special, don't get upset. It's really okay.

People judge everything from princes height..to his penis ...to his hair/wig..women choices..religion.. ect..everyday on this site..I simply said I didnt think he deserved the attention he is getting because I know many more deserving artists that are pretty much unknown to the general public..& at the same time I said I respect what he's doing but Im not a fan of it...Thats honest talk..I didnt call him ugly..I didnt say he in untalented..i didnt say he should burn in hell..I just said his THANG aint for me !

As an artist myself, I hate to see Hunt or anybody else for that matter, get caught up in justifying yourself. An artist should never have to justify what they do. People either dig it or they don't. U should never OPENLY compare yourself to another artist. All u do is open yourself up for all kinds of shit.
