- The first few listenings were mostly negative -- I only like a few songs. The album has been growing on me though and now it is kind of ok. What is your favorite song so far? - Illusion, Coma, Pimp & Circumstance What is the song you dislike the most? - Cinnamon Girl Which songs would you replace on the album? - None because it is up to Prince! Which songs do you think might grow on you? - The entire album might grow on me. Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? - I can't tell! I never understood why the most beautiful girl .... was such a success in the first place. What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed?[/b] - ONA, TRC, NEWS and that is the reason why I am not disappointed at all with Musicology. - I don't need to listen to it ever again. What is your favorite song so far? Illusion, Coma... What is the song you dislike the most? Musicology Which songs would you replace on the album? Uhm... all of them. Which songs do you think might grow on you? None. Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? If the albums 'given away' at concerts are counted too, then probably yes. I don't expect many non-concertgoers to buy the album. What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed? Crystal Ball & The Vault, in other words 'the old stuff'. Since Emancipation I've lost interest in his new work. If there ever appears a sequal to Per's D.M.S.R. book I'd be very interested to read what happened in '94/'95 when Prince had completed (most of) Come, The Gold Experience, Exodus, Chaos & Disorder and The Vault. These albums contain a lot of excellent songs, and hearing him perform songs like Days of Wild, Now and Pussy Control in concert, he also seemed in a more experimental frame of mind again. I expected great things... And then came Emancipation, a completely bland record. After that he never recovered creatively. What happened? I'd really like to know. Stop the Prince Apologists ™ | |

- It was ok. But then again as usual...it takes more than one listen to get into Prince's stuff. What is your favorite song so far? What Do You Want Me 2 Do? What is the song you dislike the most?
