PrintableI'm dissapointed with Musicology. I thought it was nothing special. Rainbow Children was fresh and different. I haven't heard anything like it. Musicology sounds like everything else on the radio. I do understand all of the atention it's getting. In todays entertainment industry if they like what you are doing your brilliant, if they don't you are worthless. PLEASE US PLEASE US PLEASE US!!!!!
Fortunately if you don't like something Prince dose it's no big deal. You know he is going to keep making music till he dies. He's gonna croak with a guitar in his hand. p.s. Am I the only person who's tired of people saying Prince is back? He was never gone... | |

-Sheer joy and exhiliration! What is your favorite song so far? I haven't listened to it all that much yet. I'm still catching up on albums I've missed in the past years. But if I had to pick one I'd be torn between On the Couch and Reflection. What is the song you dislike the most? I like them all, but I guess I like Life O the Party the least. Which songs would you replace on the album? None. A Prince album is a Prince album, and I wouldn't change what he put on it. Which songs do you think might grow on you? Every single one of them, as always! Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? Maybe. You never know! What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed? Emancipation. Not that I dislike ANY Prince album. But Emancipation was the last album that I memorized every track word for word and still listen to constantly. I reject your reality and substitute my own.

Given what i'd just said about Cinnamon Girl, personally i'm sure he has picked each song for this album for some particular reason...whether it was a vybe or story he wanted to tell so no, nada. What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed? To this magnitude, probably the "Emancipation" album. Musicology makes TRC look like an experimental album! Wait, U said PRINCE album right? er... in which case it may have to be the "  " album solely for "Love 2 The 9's" or "Come" with the exception of "Loose".

I think it is great. My favorite song so far is Life 'o' the party. There really are not any songs that I do not like. There is not a song that I could single out that I acually didn't like. The whole album did, I'll have to admit when I first heard it I wasn't sure if it would be any good. Now I enjoy the whole thing. I would think that it would hit the charts. Emacipation is the last album I really ehjoyed. | |

It's a good effort to get back into the mainstream, but lacks a little in the groundbreaker department... What is your favorite song so far? If this Prince Album does not go well on the charts, I think the man could retire from the music "big business". Cuz, so far, and for once, everything is perfect : a well produced wide audience album after the failed tentatives of Rave and NPS. - An efficient promotion (Net, Radio, press, even cinemas !) - a massive hit tour.
