Right now Life O the Party is so close to being skipped during play, but there's something about the beat makes play it. Call my name states in routation simply because he screams. I get so wet when he screams. :evilol:

- N.E.W.S. Perhaps it's just I'm getting old or because TRC encouraged me to explore Acid Jazz, but I think this cd is being highly underrated. Some of the beast arrangements and funks is all over the tracks. I must admit, this is the first Prince cd I have liked every single track on the album. The first. And I have all legally released Prince albums.

- I was really pleased. (Like all Prince albums, I always have 2 listen at least 3 times b4 I really like a song/album. With this one, I suprisingly liked upon initial listen and that's rare.) I like the production; it's stripped down and less dense than Rave and TRC, but I think the writing is subpar (2 poppy, non thought-provoking).

Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? Unless he releases Call My Name on Urban/R&B radio and A Million Days on mainstream pop/rock radio, Musicology will fail. I also think that The Marrying Kind/If I Was the Man in Ur Life could be a mainstream hit. Other than that, I think releasing Musicology as the first single was a major mistake.

Although I might re-produce the end of the title track to make it even more interesting, like add a guitar solo to it. And if it would fit well, I'd try to find a place for "U Want Me".
