Vibrational Warmth, Smiles and Joy. It’s a very clever album and as always, Prince is eternally full of Heart. What is your favorite song so far? What has been your reaction to Musicology?
- I was terribly disappointed. Most of it sounds like a lesser version of something he did before, which on it's turn was not the best thing he did before. Overall, it sounds like a blend of Chaos & Disorder and New Power Soul. It doesn't come close to One Night Alone and The Rainbow Children, which I think are both among the top 5 albums of his carreer up until now. What is your favorite song so far? I like What Do U Want Me 2 Do? where the music adds something very special to the words, like he's scared, flattered and shy. And Dear Mr. Man has a nice groovy and warm feeling over it. What is the song you dislike the most? If eye was the man of your life. He doesn't sing it with the power I think it requires. Which songs would you replace on the album? I would use the better songs of this album to replace the lesser songs on New Power Soul. Which songs do you think might grow on you? Life of the party. Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? Yes. It already is. I can't understand. What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed? As said, One Nite Alone is amazing. Prince is an amazing artist and I don't have to like his music to appreciate it. Especially the lyrics are a of a maturity (= lack of testosteron & ego) that is admirable, but I can't identify with yet! | |

Like many of his past albums, this one is slowly growing on me. What is your favorite song so far? Illusion, Coma, Pimp and Circumstance. What is the song you dislike the most? Life o' the Party. I liked it at first, but now I find it kind of annoying. Which songs would you replace on the album? None. The album is what it is and one can always skip a song on the player. Which songs do you think might grow on you? All. Do you think Musicology will be a chart-topper? No. It already went the highest it'll go. What is the last Prince album you actually enjoyed? | Reaction to Musicology: Really pleased. Prince has been superb the more he gets older...I really love his DVD Live at the Alladin..he new team is great playing the blues...;
My favorite songs: A Million Days and Illusion...Circumstance; I dislike: None...his voice is so soothing to my years...; Would not replace any...; The song that grows on me: If eye the man in Ur life; It will be a chart tooper?
