EXCELLENt song. I was so EXCITED and PLEASANTLY SURPRISED that PRINCE did MUSICOLOGY cause I NEVER heard it in it's ENTIRITY. ALL I Can say is I LOVE THIS SONG so MUCH! IT"S GREAT and so was the ENTIRE PRINCE INTERVIEW if I was a REVIEWER I would give this 4 stars and 2 Giant Thumbs Up! HURRAY for PRINCE and the Band. They were all GREAT!

No, but once you heard the whole album and saw great lyrics in songs like Sweet Baby, you realized there was more to the album than just the single.

That's the way it usually is with a P album, you'd think ppl would expect that by now.

Some singles aren't intended to be a Purple Rain or a SOTT, and there's nothing wrong with that.

"Musicology" seems aimed towards R&B stations (and maybe adult comtemporary)...not pop stations (I don't see it getting any play there--perhaps some other single off the album will, tho)...Has a nice groove...

It was a nice little performance...nothing amazing by historical standards, but still entertaining. It got the word out about the tour which was the main purpose of the performance and appearance.
