Celebration 2025 Early Bird Tickets...

$1150 a piece for VIP tickets, or $600 a piece for general admission tickets where you don't even get to hear unreleased music. But you do get access to "The Vault & Future Plans" panel, where they'll tell you about all the BIG YEAR that 2026 will be!

The vault and future plans panel would really be quite useful if the panelists were there to explain honestly and listen, and questions were open to everyone.

I think at this point it would not be unfair to suggest that this is not likely to be the case.

why do you say that?

they have taken questions in the past and Mr Spicer was very approachable last year and would chat about this

TBH Vault and Future Plans seems very interesting.

I mean this is the first time they are going to talk about it openly.

Hopefully there will be some critical fans in the audience and that they get a chance to voice their opinions.

When do they normally announce the lineup?

The thing you have to pay 600/1100$ to know the future plans of the vault maybe is itself part of the plan.

please don't misunderstand me, I truly hope for an open portal where the future plans of the estate can be discussed openly and honestly with fans from all over the world.

Something like a Reddit AMA could potentially facilitate this for those of us who can't travel to Minneapolis to ask the questions or listen to the responses.

Bingo. I can't bring myself to be optimistic about their "plans" after seeing how they've run the estate for the last 2-3 years.

People seem to have forgotten about Vault Series Vol. 1 from 2023, which never got any kind of follow-up. They know they don't have to release anything of significance as long as people keep shelling out $1100+ to come hear an hour's worth of unreleased material every summer.

This could be what "Fam Partnerships" means, but it remains to be seen.

it would be interesting to know how many people visit these celebrations.

i still can't believe this is the cash cow that many here seem to think it is.

400 people? 500 people? from some of the reviews I read previour years
it didn't seem like paisley park was packed to the rafters.

after costs and everything they might make, what 300K ?

still, nice change, but nothing to compete with a good release in terms of
(small but steady) income from streaming/licensing and (bigger) income
from the initial release on various (collectable) formats.

if 300K from a celebration is worth it to keep doing them and the estate
thinks that is nice change, why not then turn that change into more $ by
investing a chunk of that in pressing limited vinyls of unreleased albums,

releasing a limited run of 10.000 Camille albums on vinyl for 25 bucks each
would also amount to about 200K profit, right?

Last year looked about 1000. That was down on about 1500 that went to the first one in 2017.

I've got a gut feel it will be down in numbers this year. The Estate run version was far less value for money that the earlier ones run by the Graceland people.

That is very positive thinking, but, again, who are the gate-keepers who will choose the "right kind of fans" in???

Who knows what this really means until it is revealed. All I know, is that is was mention below the "Panel Discussions/-The Vault & Future Plans" 'umbrella', and it got me thinking about something similar to what andrewm7new wrote.

I think it's a good idea to start talking about future plans but we'll see what they have to say. I'm not that impressed with how the current estate has handled things so far, but I do think they want to release a few more SDEs before they move on to something else.

Until now the Estate has never announced anything during a Celebration so I expect nothing !

1000 people is still a pretty nice amount of $ made from tickets at those prices.

It is.

Gut feel is its about to really drop off. It didn't sell out last year and the value proposition is dropping, especially for international travellers.

Agreed - they just do not offer enough.
The panelists are re-hashing the same stories and they show us footage we have already seen!
NUTS!

It's a disappointing mess just like everything else they touch.

This should be so EASY.. but they make it HARD to remain interested.

Why is this interesting?

They can tell what needs to be told in less than 2 minutes, for the whole world, in a simple 'announcement', even for the coming years.

Why a panel?

Maybe they don't know what they're doing and are expecting some input from the audience?

Goodgod.

They couldn't even call it "The Bird" tickets?

I wish we could unite as a community and boycott these, but, yeah, never gonna happen.

They get plenty of input from fans online, they just choose to ignore everyone who doesn't kiss their ass for every poor business move they make.

What is the diff between "Purple" and "Gold" ticket? Looks like teh same bullets just in a different order.

And the GA just doesn't get the guided tour or the VIP lunch?

From what I remember, the only real difference between Purple & Gold were the days of certain events. Also, GA doesn't get to hear the unreleased vault music, because only real fans (aka wealthy enough to cough up $1150-1300) are worthy of that rolleyes
