She's been talking about this for years.

I think something did happen between her and Prince that wasn't good. Exactly what happened 100% we'll never know, but something did happen.

I think they simply didn’t get along and probably argued with each other. It’s absurd to think that Prince physically abused her in any way. She’s exaggerating.

None of us have any way of knowing what went down between Prince & Sinead, but some of y'all are entirely too eager to dismiss her claims and paint her as a crazy lying harpy (like the dude we're all here to celebrate didn't believe in shit like chemtrails, or embellish the truth throughout his entire career. just saying)

Can I see him chasing someone around a freeway or whatever it was she claimed? No, it sounds kinda silly, but I wasn't there. Y'all weren't there either. Maybe Sinead is misremembering or conflating traumatic experiences, who knows. It doesn't hurt to show a little compassion though.

Co-sign. I mean, the Org isn't exactly a place for any kind of compassion anyway.

In September 2019, (less than 2 years ago) Sinéad appeared on the biggest TV chat show in Ireland called The Late Late Show…

She dedicated the song Nothing Compares 2 U to Prince and said she would “close her eyes and sing it TO him”.

Not behaviour that fits with her story really.

People can have complex/evolving feelings about someone who has hurt them, it's not that strange or uncommon.

Supposedly he did the same to Michael Jackson, driving after him in his car after their joining James Brown on stage back in '83. I guess he didn't want to be called on stage that night. Prince liked fast cars and fast bikes. And we know what he did to Morris' suit in Purple Rain. What's fiction, what's fact. Suppose anything's possible. He did call Shelby J 'baldy' on stage. On the other hand his fave film was 'The Witches'. smile

Immediately after the gig apparently. MJ later remarked Prince would be dead by 30 from suicide. They didn't start off the best of friends, all told.

"Some version" is a wide spectrum. 😂

No way he beat her like a prison inmate with a pillow case full of rocks. Smh

The fact that she has added to the story over the years and then lied about him after his death regarding Arsenio is very telling. She has serious issues and is selling a book. $$$

This story was told by quincy jones. You honestly believe no one else would've seen it if that really happened?

I don't know. Nobody saw Prince get Morris's suit all wet and he'd just got it back from the cleaners.

Ironically, Morris and Sinead are both Sagittarius Sun Signs!

Sagittarius and Geminis are opposite signs, conflict can occur.

Sagittarius and Geminis are two of several sun signs that like to be in "control". The Rising Sign, Moon Sign, Mars Signs will also influence a person's temperament/actions. Plus, the major planetary aspects of a person's chart - opposition aspects, square aspects, etc.

"Nothing compares....nothing compares 2 U".

Great song. Mrs. O does a good rendition.

However, my favorite genre of music is Rhythm and Blues, thus, a black female R&B singer would have Sang this song more phenomenally! (Just-My-Opinion!).

Yeah I did get a bit of a guilty laugh at the pillowfight part, I pictured P as Moe Szyslak slyly filling the pillowcase with doorknobs when she wasn't looking, then knocking G.I. Jane through a wall. These outbursts often precede a mental breakdown, hopefully she's got reliable people watching her.

The woman has been cancelled every six months since 1992, she won't dent Prince's reputation.

Those who wonder what the Ireland she came from was like, and why she hated the pope, would do well to read this recent (very long) piece in the LRB:

She can't keep her story straight.

She previously claimed that it happened at his house in Malibu and that they chased down onto a busy highway (PCH???). When did Prince have a hom in Malibu? There's no record of that.

Besides, she's like a foot taller than him. IF it happened in a similar fashion, she's saying that she couldn't outrun him?

It's the only story she has left to embellish into a book. Poor thing.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

lol this is getting kinda ridiculous.
