I thought the same thing. $150 is too much for the CD. It's 3 discs more than 1999 SD (5CD+1DVD), so there's no reason it should be over twice as much money. I can see it going for $100 - that seems fair.

So is "Crucial" the sax version or not???

Exactly! If it's already such a limited edition release – they could've thrown some vault tracks on there, that aren't on the super deluxe. Don't see the point of having Hot Thing (edit) 3 times, nor The Cross/Adore – The Ballad Of Dorothy Parker would've made more sense. Have Witness but place a different B-side.

Dont love the "horns" version of Witness (reverb is off). (I think of the non-horn as the "real" version).

That's Witness version 1? It has horns and backing vocal overdubs. I always assumed that was version 2, and version 1 was the track without horns/backing vocals.

Looks great, humming and hawwing over whether I actually want that 7" boxset though. Will be picking up the cd box for sure.

Version 2 is a complete rerecording of the song, with a funkier electronic vibe

I passed on it. But couldnt resist the massive 13lp and the peach vinyl. after droping all that cash, the 7"s are a bit decadent.
