Parade Deluxe ideals I was wondering which Outtakes would belong on a Parade Deluxe set.
For sure Others here with us, Old Friends 4 Sale and All My Dreams. It's a wonderful day, An Honest Man and Junk Music are in Under the Cherry Moon so I guess they qualify. Come Elektra Tuesday and Heaven are also I believe from 1985. Any other contenders?

If it is going to be a Parade album deluxe of 'outtakes' the songs have to have been tied to the album.
I would want the piano/string version of 1. An Honest Man heard in the movie 2. Mia Bocca 3. Old Friends 4 Sale 4. A Wonderful Day 5. Neon Telephone(attacked to the neon telephone Mary Sharon talked on) 7. Others Here With Us there are two outtakes that were created and considered for the movie/album: 9. Call of the Wild and 10. God is Love
Call Of The Wild is an unreleased track recorded in late July 1985 at the Washington Avenue Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Susannah Melvoin had prompted Prince to listen to some music by British rock band Led Zeppelin, which inspired Prince to write this heavy rock track. Susan Rogers and Peggy McCreary mixed the track in September 1985, when Prince was considering it for use on Parade. It was not included on any known configuration of the album, however, and Prince may have thought it did not fit musically. The track remains unreleased.
God Is Everywhere is an unreleased track recorded in mid-July, 1985, at the Crosstown Circle Warehouse, Eden Prairie, MN, USA, during recording sessions for Parade. Engineers Susan Rogers and Peggy McCreary mixed the track on 26 September, 1985, while Prince was in France filming Under The Cherry Moon, and sent it to him, as he was considering it for use on Parade. It was not included on any known configuration of the album, however, and the track remains unreleased. The track is a piano-led ballad, with gospel-style vocals by Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman. -PrinceVault
The Question of U was recorded during the Parade sessions, so I would add the 1986 version/outtake too

If it ever happens it will be a double CD at most. See the music bu$ine$$ 'professionals' at work... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I would keep The Flesh stuff off (even if it briefly appears in the movie) because I think it deserves a release itself. Probably way down the list for the estate to think of - but a full boxset of those sessions is deserved.

I didn't even know that it exists.

I almost had a heart attack as I thought it was epected to be released. Thread title shoud B explicit... "Money won't buy U happiness but it'll pay 4 the search."

Just because it was in the movie I think an edited version of Junk Music #1 would be cool.

Some of this I would prefer to be released seperately . The Flesh can be released seperately, since that is how he planned it and those 1985 outtakes (some where Jill Jones 1st album considerations: Come Elektra Tuesday and Stella And Charles, Polka-Dot Tiger, Killin' At The Soda Shop, Married Man and Zebra With The Blonde Hair ) . I think it would be cool for a 1985 outtake album release: Go Splash Adonis & Bathsheba She Pony etc . Originals pt II: Eternity, Neon Telephone, GIRL O' MY DREAMS etc

let's face it, parade super duper deluxe could be 10 discs, including the movie, a concert, and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Wish people could realize that the majority of the concerts recorded were recorded on video tape so they can never be released in HD. Only a handful of Prince concerts were shot on film. Film's the only thing that can be remastered into HD. [Edited 7/23/19 16:30pm]

Damn, Old Friends 4 Sale(one of my favorite P joints EVER!) I love this lineup for the Dream Factory album!!! Dorothy Parker, IT, and Dream Factory on side 1! Strange Relationship, In A Large Room, and Sexual Suicide on side 2! CRYSTAL BALL on side III, with Power Fantastic! Last Heart, into Witness(hopefully the rock version), Movie Star and ALL MY DREAMS!
Damn! That's a heaven of a lineup!!! I'd pay for that version, if they put some other unreleased killer tracks as a side 5 and 6!

When I put this together to listen for the first time I cried
This flow is perfection. Hearing Crystal Ball followed by Power Fantastic, that is a mind f^&k by itself.
