I agree. I always loved "My Name is Prince' and think the video is what really made the song for me, his dancing. Actually, I was hoping he was going to play this at the arena during the 1st Celebration in 2000, because he'd taken his name back (instead of the symbol) at that time. So I kept waiting for him to play it, thinking the audience would go wild when he did since he was once again "Prince". But he didn't play it.

The ones you mentioned are not my favorites, but at least they sound funny to me.

Humerous songs IMO.

And I see beauty in so many songs, but not in "Sweet Baby", it's just slimy and boring to me.

Nevermind... "Insatiable", "Sexy M.F." and "I Like It There" have been mentioned here.

I love those!

But wouldn't it be boring if we all had the same opinion?

Insatiable is one of Prince's finest ballads, lovely, nasty, what's not to like about this beauty..

I have no clue to, why a Prince "fan" like "Rod" could mention those 3 as bad examples..?

Prince has a breathtakingly large number of truly awful songs from which to choose. Narrowing it down to one is an impossible task. I'll have to leave it at two: Arms of Orion and Jughead. Those are the worst as far as my taste goes.

I love P Control. Now, I will admit that when I'm driving down the street, during the summer, and have my CD player turned up full blast, blaring out Prince, and P Control comes on, my face turns red, and I reach over, looking all around to see if anyone is looking at me, and turn it down to personal listening levels. I guess there is still some part of a little girl in me that thinks, "oohhhhh I'll be in so much trouble if they hear me listening to this".

I loved Cause & Effect. It's one of the songs I was listening to on a self-made CD on my way to Atlanta for that final concert. It was hard to listen to it for awhile after that.

I don't understand the hate for Purple & Gold. It is a fight song. His first worst song was Temptation. His last worst song was Ain't About to Stop. Push, Daddy Pop, JugHead, (I Like) Funky Music, and a few others in between.

Temptation is awesome but yes Ain't About to Stop is really one of the most crap songs he ever did with that female singer, I forgot her name, who sings like a constipated hamster. I forgot about that song.

The early version/demo of Daddy Pop is slamming tho.

I really like many parts of the song (the verses are great). But there are elements that are a bit cringe.
