Yes, we know he had an addiction. There is no denying that.

Minnesota RX history report shows on 4/14/2016 Kirk filled 2 prescriptions from 2 doctors (Schulenberg and Boo (dentist) at 2 different Walgreens. 15 Oxycodone with Acetaminophen and 10 acetaminophen with Codeine. Maybe that is what Prince meant about mixing the 2 gave him the problems?

Kirk hasn't told the truth from day one. I think he's been getting pills for Prince for years!!

Another thing that has been bugging me; what's the story on that empty syringe package that was found in/near the garbage dumpster?? confused

Also, I've looked at the pictures several times and I'm trying to figure out where the elevator is in relation to Prince's bedroom. I see his living quarters (Green Room) is adjacent to the stairs, but I'm not sure where the elevator is?? confused

.

And, what is the story on the "blood stain" that was collected?? confused

Where was the blood stain? Is there a picture of it?

Ok, so let's go with that. Let's imagine that Kirk was getting Prince the pills and pretended to know nothing about it both in the hospital (asking Prince where he got the other pills from in front of the doctor? and JH) and with the Police, by pretending he was not even that close to Prince. Some other associate stated that he believed Kirk was doing just that, apparently removing himself from the inner circle.

Would this mean Kirk knew it was laced with Fentanyl?

Would this mean Kirk unknowingly bought an "irregular" pill?

Would this mean Prince knew he was taking Fentanyl and had been doing it since, lets say, 2014, when his looks and health seemed to start deteriorating?

Would this mean Prince took that letal pill deliberately? I mean, who overdoses twice in the same week?

Why was the coroner so quick to rule out suicide? How can the Police actually state as a fact that Prince took the fentanyl pill unkowingly?

[Edited 5/3/18 11:14am]

And to add to this Phaedra started working for him in 2014 and he signed with WB again...someone brought in those fentanyl pills and Prince had no idea why he felt so sick. Follow the $$

I thought that Prince signed a distribution deal with WB, but he still retained ownership of his masters. Prince's beef with WB and the music industry was that an artist did not own his/her own work, and not so much that artists had to rely on record companines to put the music out. Is this not correct?

He refused to a blood or urine test in Moline, so he left without knowing what exactly caused the emergency (other than that opioids were involved). From what he apparently said there, he thought that the the problem was the combo of pills he took and/or the Narcan shots he got.

-

If he'd been tested and fentanyl was found, that would've tipped him off that he had ingested something he most likely didn't intend to (because legit Vicodin, like Percocet, doesn't contain fentanyl).

-

He might have thought he WAS being extra-careful a week later. Maybe he had taken like 2 Percs and 2 "Vicodins" in Moline, and so in PP he took just 1 "Vicodin" -- but that was enough. Everything we know now about the pills -- that they were counterfeit and many contained a huge amount of fentanyl -- he probably had no idea.

-

He was probably a pretty experienced opioid-taker and had taken plenty of percs, vicodins etc in his life without major problem (at least no OD-level). He might have been in serious denial/ignorance about what had gone down in moline and why.

MMJas said:

Wouldn't he be extra careful with whatever pills he would take from that close call onwards?

"Who refuses tests after his first OD could have IDed that specific drug and clued him in that his stash was laced."

Can you clarify this, please?

[Edited 5/3/18 12:21pm]

I also believe he was an experienced opioid taker. Have you watched Prince at Montreaux in 2013, i think? As soon as I saw his eyes I knew.
I believe that many years of that took its toll, especially from 2014 onwards, with him wearing loose clothing in order to (it now seems) disguise wearing wrist and hip braces, going natural hair wise, obsessing over destiled water and pineal gland detox and overall body cleansing, the physical changes that seemed to have occured, as in constipation (issues since 2015), the frailty, stomach and mouth issues, seeing holistic doctors, etc.

The contract he signed in 2014 was intricate. He would regain ownership after each album was eligible for copyright. Also WB retained much of the older work outside of the U.S.

Yes, and I also think that Kirky was doing some doctor shopping for Prince as well. Remember how Kirk called his dentist on the day they were flying out to Atlanta and was asking for pills for his tooth pain? He had ways to obtain pills, so him acting all naive about Prince's pain and pills is absurd.

You hit the nail on the head right there! It was around 2012-13 when I noticed something was not right with Prince. He looked frail and not his chipper-self. This is what opioid addiction does to people. Not to mention, what prescription drugs do to your system over time, and without proper medical attention/tests, you have no idea what that stuff is doing to you.

.

You can see in this pic from Montreaux, 2013 -- his eyes were glazed; something wasn't right with him. He was feeling no pain.

Yes, I would have thought the same thing too. Seems from the interviews Phaedra convinced Prince to go w/ WB because they were the highest bidder. I for one am still not sure about this whole WB situation and exactly the terms of this deal - some of which still are unknown

you could be right, Morris hayes called kiran sharma and said he was worried about prince, however, he did not enumerate what he was worried about past some of the things he said in interview, but it proves that someone who was around him for 20+ years thought something was wrong.

I watched a little bit of his performance in Montreux; he was very good, dancing around in those sneakers (wedges), but you can see when he takes off his glasses, the look in his eyes. Just makes me sad to think of what he was dealing with. He always stayed positive and never complained to anyone. sad

I see, okay.

.

Another thing I find extremely odd is the medical examiner noted that Prince's clothing was on backwards. Now, from the pictures/video at the scene, his clothing appeared normal, imo.

.

And the Fire Chief who pulled Prince out of the elevator noted that Prince felt warm to the touch, but wasn't sure if that was becuase it was so warm in PP (75 degrees).

I've read interviews in the past that said he kept the thermostat at 80 degrees and also employed space heaters. Paisley was originally built as an empty shell and many of the rooms added later, which means it would be difficult to circulate the heat and cooling systems.

.

Noting the temperature was also investigative, so the ME would be able to calculate the time of death. Then turning things down would make sure he was preserved until his remains were moved.

Yes, and I saw from the photo's, Prince had a lot of space heaters sitting around, so maybe the heating system did not work very well, or he didn't feel the need to have the entire estate heated, only rooms that he lived in.

Kirk hasn't told the truth from day one. I think he's been getting pills for Prince for years!!

They ran the pharmacy report from 5/20/2015 to 5/19/2016 and there were only 3 Rxs issued to Kirk. One in October 2015 for Alprazolam (aka Xanax) and the other 2 in April 2016. This supports my theory that Kirk did get meds for Prince and probably was the person who got the counterfeit pills also. I wonder why they limited their pharmacy search to only 1 year before Prince's death? Why didn't they search for all of the people that Prince was close to during the last 4 or 5 years?

I guess we also have no way of knowing if he got prescriptions overseas too. Its interesting when you look on Wiki at Turks & Caicos it says it is renowned for its private clinics. It is also British governed and there wasn't the same crackdown on prescribing opioids like in the US, which started in 2010, which incidentally is when he purchased the T&C property hmmm

He would have been better off getting his meds there. The fentanyl laced pills could not have come from a legal pharmacy, even 1 outside of the US.

This is a good point. My understanding is that pinpoint pupils are a tell-tale sign of opioid use.

.

Why does everyone look to Kirk to blame and not look at Meron or Phaedra?

Is it because they are women and you assume only a man would be the source of the illegal fentanyl?

Remember Kirk willingly gave a statement to the police until the Detective was interrupted during Kirk's interview.

Meron fled back to her hotel room and never gave a statement other than to state she felt she couldnt because of the NDA and then immediately hired counsel.
