IMO Prince started taking pain pills for pain. He didn't take them to get 'high'. He got addicted to them because they are highly addictive and even the people who take them as prescribed get addicted to them, they build up a tolerence to where the pills don't work anymore and then the Dr's up the dose to help the pain. Blame big Pharma, when Oxycontin first came out, it was touted to us a wonder drug, and it was, until it wasn't.

We all know Prince didn't do well with Dr.'s and with the crack down of giving opioids the people who were going to Dr.s to get them for him, probably couldn't get them anymore. He could've have gotten those pills any where he went and probably did, and didn't have a problem with them. until he couldn't obtain them anymore and had to resort to other measures, they could've come from Atlanta, China, anywhere, they were made to look like the real thing. The people who make them don't have degree's and they just dump anything in them. He got a bad batch. My guess is that's what happened on the plane, and he didn't quite understand what happened, because they looked exactly like what he was taking.

My guess is also his stomach issues had to do with the constipation that these drugs cause, that's why all the enema's. The pain Dr. told my hubby that he was probably having constipation problems and when my hubby admitted he was (you know men they don't like to admit these things) The Dr. immediatly gave my husband a script that was in shot form, that I had to give him.

Prince was basically a clean living person. He knew his body but this time, he couldn't quite figure out what was happening. That's probably why he was looking at different waters to help cleanse his body. IF he was under a Drs care or confided in a Dr, it could have been explained to him and he could then make the decision on what he wanted to do.

Big Pharma threw us into this opioid crisis by lying, they knew how addicting these pill were and they flat out didn't care. It has really hurt the people who really need the pain meds for their chronic pain. It is almost impossible to get them now, unless you are on your deathbed. That's really a shame because lot's of people are suffering really bad.

I Think Kirk is the least guilty of the three. Beyond being a man and a big strong looking dude (which both contributed to people's notions that he was the guy to blame) he also knew Prince longer so I think folks are a bit angry that someone in the camp that long wasn't closer to Prince. But then again, these two men don't look like they had much in common. I am sure Kirk is not a moron necessarily but he doesn't strike me as a deep thinker and he seems a bit weak willed but I do think he is probably the one that should bare less of the blame than the two women. They had the purse strings, they had the extreme secrecy even more so than Kirk. Plus when Kirk bought those percocet, he led a paper trail to himself that he didn't eradicate or destroy. What procurer of illegal pills would leave a paper trail like that or even purchase those legal pills if he was already getting the counterfit stuff?? Is it worth leaving a paper trail to yourself for 15 percocet??

Yes, and I also think that Kirky was doing some doctor shopping for Prince as well. Remember how Kirk called his dentist on the day they were flying out to Atlanta and was asking for pills for his tooth pain? He had ways to obtain pills, so him acting all naive about Prince's pain and pills is absurd.

Why does everyone look to Kirk to blame and not look at Meron or Phaedra?

Is it because they are women and you assume only a man would be the source of the illegal fentanyl?

Remember Kirk willingly gave a statement to the police until the Detective was interrupted during Kirk's interview.

Meron fled back to her hotel room and never gave a statement other than to state she felt she couldnt because of the NDA and then immediately hired counsel.

I tip toward your explanation or maybe even suicide...but I don't think Prince was poisoned. I think he was desperate for relief and wasn't getting it. I think he was attempting to hide it from folks and wasn't doing too good of a job (but suspicions of usage without witnessing it directly won't get you far if you are a concerned associate even remotely out of the inner circle. ) I think Kirk knew of Prince's history but might have thought that since Prince couldn't get the legal stuff anymore that he was fighting back that demon. He might have attributed the weight loss etc to Prince just overworking and stressing himself out or maybe even to P enduring pain without much help other than an occasional percocet and limited movement (sitting behind the piano). And since Prince kept him busy doing different things and only called on him when he needed him, he was probably too wrapped up in other things to see the drug signs until it was too late. He should have told the truth to the cops, because I think he is probably more innocent than many think, but he wanted to protect the brand and to some extent, I hope, Prince and his legacy. When P was still alive, I sense that Kirk was trying to balance doing what Prince wanted, what protected the legacy and what Prince needed as a man..His mistake was that what Prince wanted (privacy) and what the legacy needed should have been trumped by what the man himself needed to survive.

I go back and forth. But someone made a point about Prince thinking in molene that his taking a percocet and the pills in his bayer bottle caused a bad reaction (from mixing the two) and then on the 21st P chosing to stick to the one bottle and unfortunately for him it happened to be the kill pills--that scenario made sense to me as well.

I've read interviews in the past that said he kept the thermostat at 80 degrees and also employed space heaters. Paisley was originally built as an empty shell and many of the rooms added later, which means it would be difficult to circulate the heat and cooling systems.

.

Noting the temperature was also investigative, so the ME would be able to calculate the time of death. Then turning things down would make sure he was preserved until his remains were moved.

.

Yes, and I saw from the photo's, Prince had a lot of space heaters sitting around, so maybe the heating system did not work very well, or he didn't feel the need to have the entire estate heated, only rooms that he lived in.

One symptom of withdrawals is the chills. You can feel very cold. No doubt a good reason to crank up the heating more than neccessary.

iirc, i think that meant blood sample taken from his body (perhaps "stained" on some kind of medical testing material or something) not like a stain on his clothes or something

.

I see, okay.

.

Another thing I find extremely odd is the medical examiner noted that Prince's clothing was on backwards. Now, from the pictures/video at the scene, his clothing appeared normal, imo.

.

And the Fire Chief who pulled Prince out of the elevator noted that Prince felt warm to the touch, but wasn't sure if that was becuase it was so warm in PP (75 degrees).

No, you can clearly see his socks are inside out and his pants are backwards.

What strikes me as stranger is the fact that Andrew said Prince was laying on his left side, like he had layed down to sleep, and the fireman who Kirk accompanied to the elevator, said that Kirk opened the elevator door and Prince was laying on his back, with arms outstretched.

Am I a native speaker? Not of this language.

Murder investigations need to be factual and correct.

Kirk did it? Perhaps.

Paper trails do not matter as they can show a carelessness w.r.t. administration (of legal stuff).

The fentanyl meds will not have a paper trail.

But who around Prince would have contacts in the area of illegal medications?

The cook?

Kirk?

Who else?

Who not?

I can understand a celebrity wanting his or her privacy, and to have people around who - maybe through a NDA - do not talk about what is going on. But Prince is dead. He cannot be hurt or compromised anymore. His reputation - his legacy - cannot be hurt or compromised anymore. Just tell the truth. Let it all out. This man was a giant - he will always be a giant.

No ones going to tell the truth if it makes them look bad (or even criminal), as far as helping procure drugs.
-
If by truthy you mean the terminal illness theory, maybe there’s nothing to tell because he didn’t have one. In the same way no terminal disease wasn’t mentioned in the autopsy summary and never even alluded to in the investigation files.
-
This might get all the truth we’re really going to get. We know a lot actually — especially relative to what we know about any of this before he died.

This supports my theory that Kirk did get meds for Prince and probably was the person who got the counterfeit pills also. I wonder why they limited their pharmacy search to only 1 year before Prince's death? Why didn't they search for all of the people that Prince was close to during the last 4 or 5 years?

Agree. After reading those transcripts any one of those three could be assisting Prince with getting counterfeit pills. As could anyone else, really. The chiropractor, the cook, anyone.

I also wish they would say more but the reality is they can’t without making themselves look bad. If they acknowledge knowing about his opioid problem then it just becomes an issue of why they didn’t intervene. And we already know about his pain issues and surgery. I’m not anticipating much coming from associates at this point. Maybe someone who tried to do something then quit because of his resistance.

Meron asked the police to go back to her hotel room for a reason. She was taken there by the police.

She then refused to answer her phone or door when she did not return to the cruiser.

What was she doing in her room?

Was she afraid the police were going to search her room?

Things that make ya go hmmmm.

He refused to a blood or urine test in Moline, so he left without knowing what exactly caused the emergency (other than that opioids were involved). From what he apparently said there, he thought that the the problem was the combo of pills he took and/or the Narcan shots he got.

-

If he'd been tested and fentanyl was found, that would've tipped him off that he had ingested something he most likely didn't intend to (because legit Vicodin, like Percocet, doesn't contain fentanyl).

-

He might have thought he WAS being extra-careful a week later. Maybe he had taken like 2 Percs and 2 "Vicodins" in Moline, and so in PP he took just 1 "Vicodin" -- but that was enough. Everything we know now about the pills -- that they were counterfeit and many contained a huge amount of fentanyl -- he probably had no idea.

-

He was probably a pretty experienced opioid-taker and had taken plenty of percs, vicodins etc in his life without major problem (at least no OD-level). He might have been in serious denial/ignorance about what had gone down in moline and why.

[Edited 5/3/18 12:21pm]

I also believe he was an experienced opioid taker. Have you watched Prince at Montreaux in 2013, i think? As soon as I saw his eyes I knew.
I believe that many years of that took its toll, especially from 2014 onwards, with him wearing loose clothing in order to (it now seems) disguise wearing wrist and hip braces, going natural hair wise, obsessing over destiled water and pineal gland detox and overall body cleansing, the physical changes that seemed to have occured, as in constipation (issues since 2015), the frailty, stomach and mouth issues, seeing holistic doctors, etc.

Obsessing over distilled water seems odd. First, it's devoid of essential minerals. Second, spring water minimally processed and contained in glass provide the best medium. I should know. I'm a doctor. And as for pineal gland detox, Prince must have been tripping. Ya just don't detox the 'pineal gland'. That's not how detoxes work. The pineal gland is responsible for melatonin production. Not much else. So if you want to help the pineal gland - and your sleep - you might want to ditch the meds. SSRIs, for instance, are definitely an issue as they inhibit the body's natural serotonin, as well as melatonin production. (Many psychotropic/psychoactive substances inhibit sleep). On the flip side, lithium is important - for everyone, something Prince probably wouldn't have known. Best to obtain it through 'healthy' food, actually, as supplementing can be an issue. The jury's still out on lithium orotate, and that's the safest form. Trust me on this. I am........ well you know what I'm gonna say next.

Overall, body cleansing is good and it's a shame that most doctors are ignorant on the subject. Trust me.

Meron asked the police to go back to her hotel room for a reason. She was taken there by the police.

She then refused to answer her phone or door when she did not return to the cruiser.

What was she doing in her room?

Was she afraid the police were going to search her room?

Things that make ya go hmmmm.

I’m with ya..after getting through some of the interviews/transcripts. Not to mention she had enough cash on her to validate a 300 pill “drug run”

Very good point.

Anyone recall the circumstances over Merone's Twitter beef in 2016 (late Feb/early March) with some random females. She deleted the tweets but apparently they were in bad taste.

Also, wonder if she and Londell are still buddy buddy?

I've said previously, that I'm suspicious of Meron because she was not forthcoming with the investigators, which tells me that she knows a lot about the situation. She also was walking around with a large wad of cash in her purse that she says came from memorabilia sales, but it still looks fishy.

I don't buy Kirk's story that he just realized that Prince had a problem in Moline. Kirk actively got meds for Prince during the last 2 weeks of his life. It's not such a stretch to believe that he may have also gotten the counterfeit pills for Prince as well.

Phaedra was on the other side of the country and did not see Prince on a daily basis like Kirk and Meron did. So there's really nothing to tie her to getting meds for Prince.

They ran the pharmacy report from 5/20/2015 to 5/19/2016 and there were only 3 Rxs issued to Kirk. One in October 2015 for Alprazolam (aka Xanax) and the other 2 in April 2016. This supports my theory that Kirk did get meds for Prince and probably was the person who got the counterfeit pills also. I wonder why they limited their pharmacy search to only 1 year before Prince's death? Why didn't they search for all of the people that Prince was close to during the last 4 or 5 years?

I guess we also have no way of knowing if he got prescriptions overseas too. Its interesting when you look on Wiki at Turks & Caicos it says it is renowned for its private clinics. It is also British governed and there wasn't the same crackdown on prescribing opioids like in the US, which started in 2010, which incidentally is when he purchased the T&C property hmmm

.

Good point; I hadn't even thought about T&C. Prince also loved Switzerland, and he very well could have had connections overseas.

I place blame on all of them, not just Kirk. From reading the investigation reports, they were all doing something shady. Why would someone be using a private text app if they have nothing to hide? eek confused

.

Kirk calls the kitchen and Prince's bedroom at 8AM? He knows Prince is not up at that hour!

.

If Prince was in a bad way, why did Kirk, Phaedra and Meron leave him all alone??!! Anyone with common sense in their heads would never do that!!

.

Also, Gaither (P's bodyguard) stated that Prince never used the elevator....he always took the stairs!!

.

Why did Meron have over 3K in cash in her purse?

.

Why was Phaedra hacking computers?

.

Why would Vans and Phaedra set up charities that they know did not have the proper clearances?

.

Who's getting Prince's royalties??

.

It just goes on and on and on........all these people are shady!! mad

from what i read about the pineal gland, it calcifies naturally, i once asked a doctor if that can be reversed he said "i don't think so". anyway, i've read online that the calcification isn't because of fluoride in the water because wild animals have the same thing and they drink natural water. It looks to me like its no more than a vestigal part of the anatomy.
