At this point no associates have my respect. They are known as M1 and M2 around here and if we feel like typing out the full name it gets typed, otherwise, M1, M2. |

I didn't see where anybody asked you to do anything....
You are starting off bad here on the forum, if you think you are going to chide anyone here.
Dig deeper, and you'll see the respect they've shown Prince.....

. I'm actually pretty far from "starting off" on the org and I'm not chiding anyone either, just voiced my opinion as you do: without anyone asking me to do so... And believe it or not, I respect your opinion and didn't mean to offend. . |

Prince does. I said 'no associates have my respect', and if you have a problem with that, maybe you need to read the police documents. |

I am not surprised to hear this, they apparently are getting no buyers. No idea if it was overpriced or if there's any other issues with the place. None of the heirs would ever be able to afford to live there so it's probably no use to them to keep. Better this place sold/auctioned off than PP though.

This is now the typical way to sell ultra-high end properties. Park City, Utah is near us and there are always auctions of such properties (one recently in the $50 million range). Take a look at some others and salivate: http://www.decaroauctions.com/auctions
Prince had this place for sale in the months before he died; it was pulled off the market and then relisted in early May, 2016 - shortly after his death. https://www.eurweb.com/20...arket-12m/
I didn't realize that he'd tried to sell it himself, thought it was first listed by the estate. Also didn't know this is commonplace to do now. Do you know why?

It is surprising to me that the T+C property is still unsold. Perhaps the estate didn't want to negotiate a lesser price. I can tell you that it has been reported that the middle to high end properties in Manhattan, for instance, are not going for the astronomical figures they once sold for. The properties over $60-75 million, say, still sell at that high price, but underneath that there is negotiation. This is a new phenomenon. |

After this past year's hurricane season, I'm not surprised that there is a lack of interest in the T + C property. With climate change, the hurricanes are most likely going to continue to become worse. Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above |

The Judge approved the Tidal settlement.
It resolves both the Estate case and the Federal case.
SNJ are opposed to this settlement.
However, it appears that Phaedra is siding with Tidal and that puts the Estate in an uncompromising position, and the Judge believes it is better to settle for something that you know is certain.
Also, it appears Cousins appealed to the Supreme Court of Minnesota.
The Judge has also approved the entertainment deal. Only a short form has been agreed upon and a long form agreement needs to be negotiated. To me, the business deal sounds like new music because there were experts working on this deal that had expertise in master recordings. |

It's a way to bring competition into the sale of a high-priced piece of real estate. I should have said re-advertised rather than pulled and relisted. The ads occurred about two-three weeks after his death, way too soon to be an "estate sale" (because things were too fluid then and such decisions weren't being made). I think it was the real estate company themselves.

In one of his memorandums sent to the Court, COMERICA said they compared the economics of the new deal to the UMG deal so.... it must be something about licensing rignts too.
Most probably the licensing rights for the unrealeased recordings but only for the post WB period this time. |

We don't know anything about this deal yet.
We just know that a short form of it has been approved by the Court. Now the Estate will have to negociate the terms of the main contract. It will take another 2 months imo. |

Back in 2016, the Prince estate filed a lawsuit against JAY-Z’s Roc Nation over Tidal’s claim of exclusive streaming rights of the Purple One’s catalog. Now, it’s been announced the legal matter has been resolved, and a full-length album of previously unreleased music from Prince’s vault is being assembled for release on Tidal. The album is expected to be released in 2019 and will stream exclusively on Tidal for two weeks, according to a press release.
JAY-Z is working with the Prince estate on compiling the new album. “Our only goal is to share Prince’s music with his fans as he wanted,” he said in a press release. “After thoughtful and honest conversation with him, he chose TIDAL as his partner for HITnRUN Phase One and HITnRUN Phase Two, and we will continue to respect and honor Prince’s enduring legacy and wishes with this new collection.”

Lawnie is not really on "the team." His role is limited.
The Judge Ordered Comerica to stop negotiating with him on the NDA. The Judge said one year of negotiations on a NDA without resolution was enough.

Friday May 18 will mark the one year waiting period on naming the heirs. Will anything change when they are officially named? Or will estate/CoAmerica still be in charge of everything? I think there are no outstanding heir claims but may have lost track. |
