Omg. It was a JOKE. This thread, ugh. Death details redux. "if you can't clap on the one, then don't clap at all"

No it would not. The autosy was a short report. We will never see the complete report. Even the comments about the scars on his legs provided no detail. HIPPA laws protect medical records 70 years after death.

This sentence has a question mark behind it. "How do you know that Prince never had a an RX for pain meds?" Because it is a question. I am not twisting anything. We only know he went to see Dr. S twice because of the search warrent. We have no access to Prince's medical records and never w ill have access to them. Do you really think he had surgery in 2010 and he did this by not seeing a doctor? If Dr. S wrote Rx's for him under a another name in April of 2016 do you think other doctors might have written him Rxs under assumed names as well in the past?
If he got meds in April of 2016 under an assumed name he had done that before. Remember the stories about him having visted the Walgreens quite a bit in the last year? Do you think the 65k on his inventory sheet was for illegal drugs or legitmate medical expenses?
You are right I do not know for certain if he had legal scripts but I can do deductive reasoning. I also know from having two babies and numerous friends who have babies that you do not need pain pills for no weeks after I suspect that Mayte was over prescribed pain pills just like millions of other people. I acutally had two very invasive surgeries in the 90s and only had enough pain meds for a few days.
I want you to notice the question marks? Questions are not twisting anyone's words. So what if people are dependent on pain meds. Part of the controversy is due to Doctors over prescribing these meds in the first place and big Pharma pushing them for every illness known to man. Is it the fault of the patient if they are over presribed meds that are much too powerful for their aliment? If you know about this from your husband your tone sure does not show any compassion whatsoever and this is my opinion about how your comments come across. Once again not twisting anything just telling you how your comments come across.
You also never answer the question that no one can really answer. What is the alternative if you are in tremendous amounts of pain and you cannot no longer obtain these meds legitmatlly or you do stop using them but still have pain?
What would you do about pain?

Sometimes there is nothing more that they can do with chronic pain.....there are no alternatives left for my husband. He wakes up screaming every night in pain, every day. They/we have tried everything.

I am sorry to hear this but for all we know Prince may have been in that stituation as well and he made a decision on how to deal with it. I see it as a dammed if you do and a dammed if you don't.
He lived to play music what would the quality of his life been like if that was taken away?
I recently looked up Dr. S and he now works at a medical center specializing in Senior care and joint pain issues. He said in the search warrent he was seeing Prince for joint problems and not for withdrawals. I think Prince was trying to withdraw on his own and struggling and ultimately failing. The fact that he was seeing a doctor for his joint problems tells me this stituation was real and no doubt the driver of his issues.

2046. You can FOIA the autopsy report in 2046, 30 years after it was conducted. Minnesota law. If only the family would allow that report to be revealed now - it would answer (probably) almost all the questions we have about his condition.

We don't know. I for one would like that clarified. If this was a one-off, and he just got a bad pill, let us know. Or is there a history of abuse? Things don't add up for me. I hate for him to be labeled as an addict if it is untrue.

. everything noted above is patently false. The coroner report would have listed other scars if any existed. HIPPA does not seal autopsy reports for any length of time. . Minnesota law provides that nonpublic autopsy details are reclassified as public 30 years after death. . INVESTIGATIVE DETAILS are not classified as nonpublic. . 2016 Minnesota Statute 13.825. Read it in full. . [Edited 9/1/17 17:11pm] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

My point is if what Dr. Fink said was true and Prince had been popping aspirian or orger pAin reducer he might have damaged his organs. So the whole issues of seeing other scars is moot. It does not matter if it is HIPPA or Minnesota Law we the public are not going to have access to his autosphy report or his medical files for many decades.

The file can be reclassified for a number of reasons and in a number of ways. The Minnesota law does not say sealed. It says that the autopsies well be (automatically) reclassified to public in 30 years. It could also leak through an associate. Do I want or need to see it? No. But my money's in it being available within five years. I do agree with you about the source of his pain and that he had become addicted. . The only reason anything is going to become avalible is if there is a criminal investigation that leads to a trial. Right now we have an investigation that has not even led to an arrest. What do you think is going to happen in five years? I do not believe there were ever be an arrest or trial. We are not going to find out anything or at least many of us will not because we will not be around.
