I was barely 9 when Purple Rain came out and did not watch it until Much, MUCH later. That being said, I knew that Prince made me feel a certain way.

Confession #1: I wanted to *be* Nikki. Because that woman was in control. She was everything, including a little bit of a freak.

Confession #2: I have a strict "do not listen in public" policy for "Do Me Baby". Someone else already mentioned the ending interlude. And yes - that is exactly why.

Considering Prince was probably the worst screen kisser ever, that's bad...

I'm thinking about that PR scene when Apollonia got off the motorcycle and Prince kissed her. I'm lol while typing this. This was the scene the got the most laughter out of me. I'm like wth, P. Good thing he made up for that during the I Will Die 4 U scene when he kissed Apples.
