How many Automobiles did Prince own in April 2016?

Where they all kept at Paisley down in the lower level? I wonder will Tyka get one? Will they divide them up between the heirs of his estate? Little Red Corvette...

Because recently there was an article last week about all the automobiles Prince did own, and he had quite a collection...

Don't even think most fans know that his car collection was kept in storage and it's over 20 cars...

It's all in the very long estate documents that were just released.
He still had the blue BMW and a tour bus and at least one other vehicle.
Dr funkenberry talks about it on last week's podcast. It seems prince held onto lots of things, in al out a packrat way. biggrin

LOL Calm down. Actually, there was just a court document released with a preliminary list of Prince's assets. All his cars were listed; some were a bit ordinary, IMO. It listed bank accounts (most with Bremer Bank), misc cash, and "unclaimed property". No idea what that last one is about. He had about $86 on hand, and $1.85M+ in real estate.

Here are his cars listed:

1993 Ford Thunderbird

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee

1997 Lincoln Town Car

2004 Cadillac Roaster XLR

2010 Mercedes-Benz (no state listed)

2011 Lincoln MKT

1996 BMW Z3 Roadster

2006 Bentley (registered in CA)

1985 Cadillac Limo

1999 Plymouth Prowler

(all are registered in MN, unless otherwise noted)

I think it was mentioned here somewhere, but he also had sixty-seven 10oz gold bars, worth $836,166.70. I mean - dude was stockpiling cars and gold!

If you'll OrgNote me with your email, I'm happy to send the PDF over. (I don't, for the life of me, remember where I first saw it, despite it being recent days.)

Here's the complete list. You need to look at more than one page. This is from an earlier post I made here:

There are two lists; they are compiled by which of P's company owned them.

We did the tour last week and they had the Bentley and the Prowler in the soundstage on display. Maybe they plan on rotating the cars out. The Purple Rain motorcycle and the Graffiti Bridge motorcycle were both on display in their respective areas.

He didn't "collect" them per se. They just kind of accumulated over the years. Each vehicle meant something to him. I believe, from the very first, he was keeping EVERYTHING for posterity so they could be shared in a museum setting.
He also wouldn't have liked to sell something and see others profit from it.

I'm not putting him down for it by any means but when I think music legend I don't follow it with 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He had other interests and we are the ones who benefited from them!

I believe the car you're thinking about was a 66 TBird. According to one of the bios I read, he rolled it into a ditch years ago because of a steering failure and was lucky to walk away uninjured.

Now the unspecified Honda is a possibly much funnier story. Soon after P's death, people in the area of Toronto he lived in with Mani were telling their Prince stories on the radio. One woman said it was well known but never discussed that sometimes a little guy on a white motorcycle, wearing a white helmet, would go into a local bar on open mic night and shred a guitar for a couple hours and then walk out, all without ever taking off the helmet. Everyone knew it was Prince, but no one said a word.

So what year is the Honda and is it white? That's what I really want to know. :
