But prince also taught me about sex also.I came back to his music when I was going through puberty so listening to music helped me get girls and understand more stuff. Also I think the first paire of boobs I've ever seen were Appolonia's in Purple Rain. How old are you? I'm 27 now

"when I did loose my virginity, I didn't really desire sex" - why then? "But, when I was 11, I really did want to have sex" - wow, that's a bit too young, even for P
"I didn't know Prince was black until my dad told me" - did no-one else read about him or see the afro (I mean, half Italian maybe but not to notice) "Did it bother me? Heck no!" - what is there to bother anyone?
"he sure was my main sex teacher when I was a teen" - really? As a teen, his sexual behaviour reminded me of my pet dog - humping and licking everything in sight with the odd violent outburst thrown in. I loved them both but I would have been horrified if people I knew behaved like that.
"Also I think the first paire of boobs I've ever seen were Appolonia's in Purple Rain." - What decade was this? I seem to remember them on TV in my childhood. There seemed to be nudist beaches all over Europe in the 70s never mind topless bathing and what about breastfeeding women and communal changing rooms?
And as for no.1 - I had only just returned Lady Cab Driver to my playlist (I often used to cut off the end when I played it as a kid - especially as my mother grimaced, folded her arms and walked off quite often when she heard or saw P - I think she still hates him but is too polite/liberal to say so) but I liked the song - and now its just ruined.
To bad for you then. For me, Lady Cab Driver was a sweet release and will always be remembered fondly. Kinda like a first love of sorts

For some reason I usually expect Prince fans to be a bit more grounded and open minded than other people. Probably the same thing Rolling Stones and Beatles fans thought. People fantasizing about Prince's man-meat and dedicating threads to it is precisely the reaction Prince wanted. Why else do you think he prominently displayed it all those years? Tipper Gore and other frigid old farts tried to censor everything for years back then to no avail. I'm sure they would be happy and proud to know that actual 'so-called' Prince fans have now picked up the torch for them. Cheers to you! [Edited 12/18/16 8:14am]

Lol that thread is not hurting anyone. I am having a ball laughing at our silliness on that thread and if people don't like a certain thread, why go on it? You're just being a wet blanket. I think Prince is up there shaking his head at our fuckery. Its all in good fun Forever In My Life, forever in my heart. I love you Prince Rogers Nelson

my ma's gone too, she did a lot of bad stuff, still i don't get it when people are happy their mom is dead. I'm still heartbroken ten years later and I would bet my ma did things at least as bad and probably worse. I've matured to the point where I realize that this society really makes it hard for any of us to treat anyone decently.

My mom passed too. The 10th anniversary of her passing was last month and yeah there were times when she wasn't the best mom ever but I love her and I miss her Forever In My Life, forever in my heart. I love you Prince Rogers Nelson

Thats what I wanted for decades. The music appreciation and to throwaway the sex fiend persona.
It watered down the genius imho.
so theres 'my' truth
if he would have went back to being ridiculous with it, Id have logged off

Very true,But im wondering if thats when fans turned on him when he toned it all down

Fans departed when he started fighting with his label, wrote "slave" on his face, and changed his name. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I am a conservative Christian. Like no sex out side of marriage and I been celibate food 10 years. But if you read my post , I'm not the winey wet blanket person. Don't make Christians and Rebuplicans look like they are the ones who have a problem with discussing Prince and his sexy self I asked Prince what he was planning to do. He told me , I'm going to look for the ladder. I asked him what that meant. All he said was, sometimes it snows in April. - book D.M.S.R.

Awww It's been months now and you're still whinging about what a bunch of gals are doing in "that thread", huh?
You do realize that long after you left us to play peacefully in our thread, we forgot all about you and the rest of your ilk...until you pop up like a prudish whackamole and, in yet another fit of Groundhog's Day inspired apoplectic colic, toss the pacifier from the perambulator yet again in yet another thread, right?
Seems to me that if you were taking your own advice, you'd be far to busy "doing" not concerned with "talking" about how others appreciate P's many talents.
Which leads me to yawn and wonder... in the split second that I stumble over more whinging (I adore that the Brits say that instead of calling it "whining" LMMFAOPIMPWTIME*)...Jealous or nah?
Silly wabbit.
* Feeel free to Orgnote for a translation of that acronym.
I'd stay and worry about your opinion on this matter, but...Nah, toomany Pnethers to peruse, only 24 hours in a day...
Besides, don't forget what I've told you in the past...You're sooooooooooo pretty.
Toodles...
