SNIP-OF4S It seems like everyone else behaved and respected PP. I wrote in my description of my visit on 10/6 about a black woman who was totally disrespectful and acted like she owned the place. She would interrupt the tour guide and even told her to turn off her 2 way radio,Because "she didn't come to PP to hear her radio". the tour guide exaplained to her that the radios were used to know when the next room was available to tour and so on. She also would skip to the front of the line when entering a new room and even brought that in a full sized camera in PP. She insisted on re taking her photos by the piano/guitar because she didn't like the ones taken. The photographer told her to get back in line and he would take them again. She felt that she didn't have to, so she skipped everyone again and he re shot her pics. She broke all the rules. I hated that she was in my tour group.
I'm sure others felt the same way I did.

I thought PP wasn't allowing cameras inside? They obviously need to follow Prince's practice of banning them if they don't already. It would be nice to be able to trust adults to act appropriately but there will always be those few people who ruin things for the majority. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I thought all these pictures were taken by the official PP photographer since this is all the same room but maybe people are sneaking cameras some kind of way. I understand everyone is supposed to lock their camera phones in a bag they carry with them.

ugh, people acting like this already. - it's my understanding that the photos are taken by a PP employee, who downloads the pic onto a USB drive you either purchase there, or you can bring your own. So Im confused how photos like these exist in the first place? An employee looked at these people doing these things and said "OK, sure" and took the pictures? I suppose people might have taken pics on the sly and that's how these came to be, but otherwise, I think PP needs to fill at least one newly opened job position.

Poor Lenny Kravitz... It's not even him in the picture

It's surprising that they allow people to touch the instruments. That should not be allowed or things will get damaged and like someone else said, stolen. With the amount of traffic that goes through PP as a museum that will have to stop. They should have some sort of boundary (a rope or something) maintaining some distance between the piano and the people when pictures are taken. And they need a security guard not just a tour guide!

Lenny wouldn't do that (but it sure does look like him).

After October there won't be tours for a while. During that time management will have time to better train staff and bring in new staff where necessary. This should never have happened but hopefully now that PP has responded people will stop re-tweeting these photos and posting them on social media. This is NOT the experience most people have had. I have absolutely no idea what you look like, but in a way I can fully imagine what your facial expression must have been while typing that!! Produced, Arranged, Composed & Performed by PRINCE

I do hope they will keep the photo moment for visitors, because I would love to have the opportunity myself, but they do need to instruct the folks to keep it respectful. The first photos i saw were respectful, people just sitting behind it or standing next to the piano, but this.............. Produced, Arranged, Composed & Performed by PRINCE

This is so disapointing because this kind of behaviour ruins it for future visitors who would be respectful. Because if they see even a small amount of people acting like this they may a) stop the photo op completely or b) place restrictions on it.

I hope they take the time that PP will be closed to review some of the things that are not working. These types of people are a disgrace and may jeopardise other people's change at taking a genuinely respectful pic beside Prince's piano. If that's your thing, fine. They really should check on those tour guides. Make sure they actually know what they are talking about, that they know Prince history and that they are sensitive enough to understand that many of the people visiting are in awe and emotionally fragile. I think there's plenty to take into consideration here.

I think we are still grieving hard but I can't bring myself to be disgusted at this. It's silly - I have no idea why you would think it would be okay to lay all over Prince's piano (surely you would ask before doing that, right? - they are 'official pics - no?) but for the museum to be successful there has to be an element of fun - it can't all just be weepy reverence. Having a keepsake pic holding his guitar would be something I'd treasure forever so I hope that is still possible.

The more I see the less interested I am in this Paisley theme Park. Despite the statement from the estate, there is no way this should have been allowed to happen. These pictures were approved and taken by TRAINED STAFF. This is little more than an exploitative mockery.

I have to say from the very first photo I saw taken on that first day with the piano I felt it should be roped off to avoid this sort of behaviour. I dont think you should be able to even touch ANY of the instruments at all so they preserved. What if some idiot knocked the guitar over and broke the neck? Or scratched the piano with a bracelet? Let alone the disrespect these two morons are showing. I want to see these things there forever as Prince left them - so that maybe in a couple of years time when I can save up enough I can travel from Australia and maybe see them for myself. But I am fearful that everything is going to be trashed. I worry also that the lovely carpet in the foyer in the main entrance will be threadbare to and only hope they have runners down that people have to walk on to preserve that too? I dont want to read that in six months time PP is closed due to having to do repairs and replace things Thank you Prince for every note you left behind 💜

Should be roped off. People should not be allowed to touch anything. And whoever took such raunchy photos should be fired. "Don't worry about what I'm doing. Worry about why you are worried about what I am doing."

There are stupid people everywhere in the world. Idiots like these. But PP was STUPID in allowing ANYONE to sit at that piano!! I don't give a fark how much money youre paying for your farken VIP tix. Pathetic!!

Totally agree. It's enough to look at it and be close. It's his bloody house, ffs, you don't get any closer than that. So yes, no more sitting down at the piano pics. I read the handwritten words Prince had on it are already starting to fade, so let's preserve, folks! [Edited 10/16/16 4:26am]
