-- That's what I want to know. I mean how much of this stuff was given to her or stolen? He had class act people working for him since they took the time out to make voodoo doll while still collecting a paycheck. If you got beef with someone be mature and move on with your life.

oh come on...

paul said it offers a glimps in the dynamics of Prince and the band,
how do U read stolen and drama into this?

She was Prince's assistant, she probably had 1000s of notes and stuff from there time

And if you've seen Karens FB she has definately moved on, all over the world, and is enjoying it...

Don't get the part where rehearsal is 12-2 and 2-6. Wouldn't it just be 12-6?

-- It is my opinion. I don't see much of a glimps of anything but an ex employee trying to make a buck off of his death. She was also in a documentary on the BBC going on about his money and was interviewed after his death. You need to drawers in a bunch everytime one of the associates is critized.

Let her make the money now, while there is still interest in Prince. He might have objected to such a sale, but he is gone. The most valuable piece IMO is the frilly shirt, although those jackets are too cool for school. After all of those years with him, and she is selling a mere handful of items ... Let her be.

I don't think we're cold. We are being realistic. When a celebrity dies, there is a market for almost anything related to that person. Now, I am sure if the Estate thought any of the items were stolen, the Estate would step in to get the item(s) back. Paul McCartney has done this on a number of occasions; so has the Lennon Estate.

I am sure someone has tweeted Londell or Bremer already on this. When I was in college, I received - as the radio station program director - thousands of LPS and promotional materials. I was told by the school that I could keep anything the station didn't want. I only WISH I had held onto that material to sell it now. She of course had a closer connection to the artist, but it is not like she is selling his toothbrush ... At some point, a person has to let go of these things.

mountain out of an ant hill

Should she burn everything, I think she is in her upper 50s? should she wait till she is 80? or have them ready to burn when she sees the grim reaper coming for her? Maybe she should give them away?

--- This was not Prince's voodoo doll. This was made by his wardrobe staff for her when she left his employment. Having it made in the first place was warped.

Nothing says Prince ever had that thing, or even that he was aware of it. From the auction description:

"Unique voodoo doll of Prince made for his assistant Karen Krattinger by the Paisley Park Records wardrobe department after she left the organization in early 1989."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think she left PP on the best of terms. There's a friggin' pin holder with the damn thing. That's just sick.
