I noticed that there must have been at least one false bid on the album set. It was over $30,000 earlier today, and was under $20,000 the last time I looked. I bid on two items, and am still the high bidder on both, but I don't expect that to last too long. Plus, I am not going to spend thousands on any item here. There will be plenty more Prince artifacts to come down the pike in the future.

that albumis worth $3000 Max

for one we do not know how many were made or currently exist. Only one new song in on it (even if the some of the other versions are a little diffrent).

but hey if someone has that kind of $$ good for them

Didn't his shirt from Purple Rain go for over $100,000 earlier this year? Unless it is the Hard Rock chain bidding, I guess there are some well-heeled private collectors looking for special items.

I bid on a third item, and have been outbid on two of the three I am bidding on, so I'll wait till tomorrow night for the real bidding to begin.

There is a note about the item. She received it from the wardrobe department when she left with the pins to stick it with. Do you really have to have this explained to you.

Prince played around with that stuff all the time, and even Quincy Jones said sometime in the 1980s Prince sent MJ a box of stuff like that the scared the hell out of him

But it is not P's Voodoo doll it is one that was made by his staff. You know the people that actually got a paycheck from him. I also saw interview with Quincy were he states it was cufflinks and tootie rolls in a box ( what the hell kind of Voodoo box is that ) Quincy sounds as if he has no idea what he is talking about.

This stuff goes on everyday all the time.My kids get props from sets ,promo items from movies ,gift bag items ,movie set items, pbs sprout items.Call in sheets with their name and the celebs all sign them.We put everything up for when the kids get older. If they decide to give it away and then that person sells it.OH WELL.As long as nothing is stolen there's nothing that can be done.Perfect example after agnes carpenter passed away (karen carpenters mother) Richard carpenter sold the house. His sister karen carpenter died in that house. It sold in 97 i believe. The new owners tore down the studio part of the house and had a carpenter sale.10 years later they are selling all these carpenter items. The STANS UM FANS started contacting richard. He was like um what of it i left it all there. lol pool tables, lamps, albums, karens bed, lamps, hundreds of bottles of wine, carpet, her bright yellow dressers too much to name.Remember elvis's dirty underwear? Now i would think they were stolen ;-)Even celebs have items they just sell them under different names. One of the richest women alive candi spelling shops and sells on ebay.People will buy it if a celeb is associated with it.So like i said as long as its not stolen.
