The Associated Press is reporting that the fan memorials left outside Paisley Park have been taken down, and fans are being asked not to put any more up because of the traffic snarls and pedestrian hazards.

I was in the same predicament, stuck with a ticket because the person who said yes snag her a ticket, literally MINUTES after I confirmed I had them said, I changed my mind and was thinking the same thing to do with it. Then I found out that even though they gave me a NO when I first asked, that they honoured refunds to at least two other people. They made me BUY a third ticket FIRST, and then cancelled the original transaction, stating there was no way for them to refund one ticket I desperately needed the $$$ as this is a unexpected trip so *trying* to keep costs down where possible. Give them a shot if you don't find any takers.

Thanks for the info FP!!! You have put so much time and effort into this week organizing get togethers for a great week of celebration. Not sure what I want to do with the ticket yet...may just give it away to "Spread The Love". Think P would like that!!

Anytime! Just hope everyone has a memorable, special visit to MPLS as we all celebrate Prince OMG that is PRECISELY the words I used when telling a friend I would have to do that as didn't see any other options. To 'Spread the purple Love!' Except I budgeted out and really needed that for food budget portion of my trip so couldn't make it happen. I absolutely LOVE the idea. Your karma will definitely be purple

I'm not going, but reading your post this came to mind if you'd like to be able to identify others from p.org...maybe all of you going could wear a name tag (or something like one of those "Hello My Name Is" name badges and write in Prince.org on it...or something to that affect). Or a white rose or something...Anyway, just thought I'd throw that in .

Booked my hotel... Recommend the Hotel340 because it has a walk through directly to the Xcel center and the bus 1 block away, Bus 54, back to the airport the next morning.

Bring you onw Flash Drive. What are they going to take a picture and then put it on a flash drive? I was liking of VIP tour but seems like it's not going to be worth the extra cost. No pictures really and only first floor.

Is anyone going on the 6th or close? I am trying to decide if I should upgrade to the VIP since it doesn't look much different than Gen. Admission. I want to know specifically about the "photo opportunity" and the additional artifacts. I would have to upgrade 2 tickets so it would be a significant expense. I would really appreciate your thoughts on the tour.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that a wall will not go up around PP as long as fans do not put up items on the fence. There is a virtual wall being created for fans instead, according to the article.

Just signed up for the taste testing samples that Prince use to eat. Should be interesting.

Also, rec'd response back that there will be a place in PP to store small items like backpacks, etc until the tour ends.

receiving the latest email has made me realize this is really happening (2 months ago it felt surreal). In 2 weeks I will be both arriving to MPLS and stepping inside Paisley Park for the very first time. I could only imagine through other people's eyes and in my dreams what being inside Paisley Park was like prior to 4/21. I am trying to not have high expectations for the upcoming tours but I just hope this whimsical/mystic/magicial/timeless atmosphere is preserved instead of a sterile/generic/monotone atmosphere.
