I know it's only property and a house doesn't make a home, but it's making me feel so sad to see everything he worked so hard for being sold off and yeh, I know it's his fault for not having a damned will. Just makes it seem so final, his footprint of his life (obviously not his music and legacy) disappearing..... sad

I am with you on how you feel. I wonder what his intentions were when he purchased the land. I am not even gonna touch the will issue.

I have heard rumors of Prince owning property in France. I know it is not on the list. Maybe the items on the list are considered "quick sale" items and are not total land and homes he owned.

Since reading the Omar clause, I am inclined to believe that the homes of Kirk and the siblings are not listed as well.

I am still interested in the other Vault locations and warehouse locations (I thought I read somewhere there were off site locations that had clothing and things).

I thought the home in Canada had been sold and the current seller is the one who bought it from Prince/Mani (who ever had possesion after the divorce).

The house listed in January (?) is pretty cool and very reasonable. Not sure of the location and area.

Thanks nelcp777. hug Glad to hear I'm not the only one feeling this way. smile

New court documents have been posted on the list of properties to be sold. PP no longer on the list. Omar Baker has posted an affidavit to say he wants to keep his mom's house. The Special Administrator wasn't aware of this when the initial list was drafted. Looks like it won't be a problem for him to keep it.

Actually, Bremer Trust is asking Omarr to present documentation that he has a life estate interest in the house. Additonally, if no documentation is provided, Omarr can buy the house from the Estate and the value of the house can be deducted from his portion of his inheritance.

Dont know. His claim had to be bogus though because the Judge said it was a "frivolous "claim. Judges dont use words like frivolous often in Orders. This Judge didnt even use the word "frivolous " in his Order about the lady who said she was married to Prince and the CIA had the marriage certificate.

The only distinguishing feature I see is a vagina-like stand of trees near the center of the frontage on Galpin Blvd. And an abandoned tennis court, presumably near where the house used to stand.

In one of the House of Blues performances, P sings about being happy because he just got paid. He went on to sing about buying land before the tax man came. The tax man has come, and land value has increased. Protecting Paisley Park and the Vault mean the most to me. Hope this makes the tax man happy.

A sophisticated mass-produced cacophony of no-win situations that aren't right...

I know mistakes happen, but I would think that whomever is responsible for updating the court documents would double, even triple check their work. Just an idea, could someone be getting paid to leak a bit of information? I know it can't be easy working on this high profile case, but it still makes me wonder since this is the second set of information that apparently was to be sealed.

It appears the judge has made his ruling in the heirs, pending DNA testing:

http://www.mncourts.gov/mncourtsgov/media/CIOMediaLibrary/Documents/Amended-Order-Re-Genetic-Testing-Protocol-and-Heirship-Claims-Following-the-June-27,-2016-hearing-and-Judgment.pdf

The 5 alleged kids, the woman secretly married in 2002, those who claimed John L. was not Prince's father, the claims of adoption and a few other claims.

Duane's offspring can take the DNA test and then their heirship will be determined from the results.

Ths judge seemed to sum it up very well in his order. I am assuming cos the judge signed it, this is official, pending appeals?

There was not any mention of child 6 or 7, unless I missed it.

I would think that Duane's children would have their test by this time and was their a child 6 and 7?

Someone in the family needs to get a hold of Alfred his touring the properties holds up the sale and what does he need to tour them for? Does he have a background in Real Estate? He may have an attorney taking advantage of him.

Yes, he did. I'm only going on rumors there's a child 6 & 7 so I don't know they don't ever seem to be mentioned in the court papers.

The property listing seem to be going along fine. Doesn't look like Prince had any other properties outside of MN except the Turks and Caicos one.

There was mention of child 6 and child 7 just recently, they had been added to the list. I will see if I can track down the specific paperwork.

ETA: what I actually came up with is claimants 1 through 7 in this document http://www.mncourts.gov/m...ator_1.pdf So I can't say child 6 and child 7 because they aren't being called that here.

So if I'm reading this correctly this is stating claimant to being genetic heirs. And so there are 2 other claims to genetic heirship, Duane's child and grandchild. So it looks like so far everything is getting wrapped up.
