This is what kills me about this whole situation. He had such tight control over his life til the end. Now, everything concerning him is completely out of control. People gossiping about his death, his estate, his heirs, his legacy. It really makes me sad.
Perhaps this is why there was not any arrangements in the way of a will or estate. Perhaps Prince thought what was the use, he had no control. Just speculating. I have no clue. |

When someone dies, that's what happens. No person can control other people's speech, actions, etc. from beyond the grave. When any of us our gone, those who are living are free to make their own choices. That's how it goes for ALL of us, even celebrities.
Now, if he had thoughts about what he wanted to have happen after he died, he could have left a will or other document/instructions that could at least give direction to some things. He chose not to, for reasons we don't know. So that one chance for after-death control was gone, by his choice. |

And ultimately no one would have cared if he received treatment because all anyone would have wanted was for him to be healthy and happy and ALIVE! If he never offered another new song to us that would have been fine - just be walking the planet. We could not have asked for more.

Well some would have been screaming to the rafters about why he wasn't putting out more stuff. But who gives a damn. I'd of preferred the person, just to pop up every once in a while. But I know he had his reasons. I'm annoyed as heck, but honestly I know he had his own plan, so technically I'll deal.

He would have had control where his money went. I suspect he would want Judith to have some, rather than what went to his half brother that he probalby didn't talk to for the last 40 years, if ever. |

Even if he called for control in a will having people shut up is really not a "realistic" demand even paying them off. I mean Freddie Mercury had his band cover up the fact he had aids for over a year while he clearly was dieing, but even people working for Freddie who were told and signed to be silent sold stories off for more money. The only real thing he could control was what happened with money music rights etc..and honestly PRINCE was not on that ride, whether he thought he wouldnt die, or he just felt as he said "money has no meaning when said and done". The funny thing is that fighting after death over money seems to always stem from a WILL being written because people contest everything, and ask why this or that. Do you think if Prince wrote a will and left everything to Hannah and Judith no one would be in court?? To be honest if he did, I think we'd already be in court. Inxs front man Michael Hutchence had a 30 million dollar estate and court costs to fight family members in lawsuits over HIS wishes basically took all that money. SO will's are almost useless especially when you got money

This point you made is being overlooked. Yes if Prince all of a sudden was talking to Judith on the plane and then he passed out, and she then said Kirk and her informed the pilot to land. Then he was given Narcan before going to the hospital. That is very telling that either Kirk or Judith, or both of them, knew exactly what he was taking. Very interesting..
Several medical professionals here have indicated that this shot is automatically given when someone is unresponsive and there is no sign of stroke or other trauma. Apparently, it will cause no harm if there are no opioids in the system.
Good to know...thank you for correcting the assumption I made. |

Kirk did one tv interview early on that I know of where he said he never saw Prince take anything and he packed his bags daily so he said if he was taking something he would have seen it. So he was backing up Prince that he was not abusing anything.
That wasn't Kirk. That was Romeo, the bodyguard who took vacation right after the plane incident.

Yes. From 'people.com' (from May 17, 2016):
Prince's longtime bodyguard is firmly challenging reports that the singer was addicted to prescription painkillers at the time of his death – despite DEA involvement in the police investigation.
Chris "Romeo" Gaither, who began working for Prince in 2012, told CNNoutside of an invite-only memorial for the iconic star at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Hopkins, Minnesota, on Sunday, that "if anybody had an addiction that would be something you would see."
"I packed this man's bag on the daily. I have been on tour with him for months," he said, adding of any possible problem with painkillers, "That would be something that you would know. That would be something that would show not only through his actions ... but through moments when he thinks people were not looking." What do yall think someone might be going through, hearing that from Prince, and then his dying a few days later?
this part of the article was somewhat comforting to me because i have heard of and read of several similar situations where a person has a near death experience and then returns for a few days and then passes on, without any drugs being involved. So this helped me fit prince's story into a deeper archetypal "nde followed soon by transition" experience that seems to happen in all kinds of diverse situations.
That's an interesting point, especially since he comes out and says "wait a few days" before wasting any prayers |

Epilepsy is such a tricky condition they don't fully understand. It is one of those things...It can ALWAYS come back decades later. They tell you you are cured..but I don't think it ever really is. I never tust it.

There are seizures triggers such as lack of sleep, stress, drugs, alchohol that can make one more prone to a seizure (if you have epilspsy). Most important, people think seizures are just shaking...they are not. They can be eye fixation, eye deviation, lip smacking, etc. All kinds of odd behaviors like one is in a zone. And they can last a long time...
>>
I always wondered from the get go if his past epielpsy had something to do in all of this..I have never seen a person having an overdose, but I have seen people having seizures just like Judith described. I don't know though why Narcan would be invovled for a seiuzre...
>>
As far as being conscious or unconcious while getting off a plane--seizures take a ton of energy out of the body. Afterwards, the person is seemingly 'unconscious' and once that wears off, (they sleep it off) which can take a few hours, they can appear normal again....
>>
Personally, I would not be surprised if his death was related to both the opoid and somehow seizure issue intertwined. Seizure death doesn't usually make it in the autopsy report..

Amen...I have had a seizure that put me straight down, out like a light, as an adult. Completely out of nowhere. I do have to say that I don't recall hearing anyone or anything going on around me. Don't even remember it all, honestly. But everyone's experience is different and people can die from a seizure. It is a disruption of your bodies electrical system. Your heart can stop. That's why the "7" video always freaked me out a little--like going down in a seizure! |

The facts, as we know them, are that Prince died of an opiate overdose. That puts him in league with Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, MJ, etc. It's very, very sad, heartbreaking even, but it is a "typical" rock star death. That would have been the end if P had left a will...unless the autopsy report were somehow leaked. I pray that doesn't happen. If so, things could get really ugly. Just think back to when MJ's autopsy report was released, which is how things are done in Cali. There were pictures of his corpse floating around, without a wig, and all kinds of private details were laid out in painstaking detail, every scar, you name it. Do you really want that for our beloved Prince? |

No one is talking about how Judith would not say if she tapped that shit.
SMART GIRL, this one, given the rumours. That might not be a list to have your name on at this time. I saw a Judith Hill poster in the mall today and I just smiled. I was a fan when she was with MJ, I watch 20 Feet from Stardom on the regular because Lisa Fisher was always my favorite Luther Vandross singer and Judith is amzing in that. I just love Judith is everything she does really.
As for Prince's harem chirpping about, ahem, 'respecting Prince's privacy', lol... I suspect there are those waiting for Prince's estate to settle, so they know who to shake down for money for the privilege of 'respecting Prince's privacy' going forward. Judith telling tales for free and they don't like that. |

He appeared fine." WELL, DUH. HE'S NOT 'SUPPOSED' TO APPEAR TO BE IN PAIN. HE'S WAS A PERFORMER AND A DAMN GOOD ONE. THE SHOW MUST GO ON. Yeah, exactly. I am very good at not showing pain, and I am usually hurting all damn day every damn day. It's very easy to act like a person will always show pain, but if it's a chronic condition, trust me you just know how to get the fuck on with life without falling out. Prince was a tough man; it would likely have to be pretty damn severe before he showed anything. |

Could have lead him to say fuck it.. I just can't see him coming out of rehab or him given the appearance of being vulnerable to anything...plus the fact that Hill claims it was the hardest thing he ever did was fight his way back from this near death episode... Why would he play with fire alone... If he knew in his mind he would have been dead on that flight without people right next to him bringing him back from the brink of death.... Think about it...
Don't assume the two events are the same.
All we heard from the plane event was Percocet. He was unresponsive and in trouble, but obviously breathing. He'd have died on the plane in the time it took them to get to the Moline airport.
Fentanyl never came up until the cause of death was released.
I see it more as a "one last time before rehab" pain relief that went wrong.
he was unresponsive and in trouble the night he died and breathing for a while until there wasnt anyone there to help him then he became hypoxic and died same can happen with fentanyl or percocet... |
